51CREATOR OF NEW ONLINE SHOP PAYS TRIBUTE TO HER ROOTS
E=MC2 launched an online shop catering to the Latino and Spanglish speaking community. Inspired by a Mexican-American upbringing in the Little Village neighborhood of Chicago, E=MC2 hopes to reach out to Hispanic American consumers interested in keeping their culture alive. The online shop includes gifts, greeting cards, t-shirts, bags and more with expressions and statements representing Latino culture.
Featured products on the homepage of the shop include women’s t-shirts, men’s t-shirts, children’s t-shirts and gifts and accessories. Designs include phrases and slogans such as Mexico, Chiquita Pero Picosa, Chicago South Side, Muneca, Cocinera and more. Creative and fun images accompany some of the phrases and slogans as well. Designs for dog t-shirts are also coming soon.
To further complement the shop, a newsletter will be distributed electronically to those who sign up for it. The newsletter will alert customers to new merchandise, specials, limited time offers and more.
“I’m so excited to offer an array of products that cater to the Latino community. This is an extraordinary opportunity for me to use my creativity to express thoughts, ideas and values of the Latino culture, says Malinda Martinez, creator of E=MC2. Furthermore, for someone who is not a man or woman of many words, I can help such people make a statement without saying a word.
The online shop can be found at www.cafepress.com/energyequalsmc2. Most products are priced affordably under $20.
Malinda Martinez, creator of E=MC2 was born and raised in the Little Village community of Chicago.
