57
Radiohead created a new video for the song “House of Cards” from its music album “In Rainbows”. The video is made totally with Google Code -- no cameras or lights were used to produce it.
Radiohead is revolutionizing the music industry; a few months ago, they gave one of their albums for free and now they are trying to make videos in a radical way.
Radiohead made their new video “House of Cards” in 3D with the help of Google Code. Neither cameras nor any lights were used to create this video -- only with the help of 3D plotting technologies from Google.Mashable.com explains it was created through complex data visualization from Google Codes seen here, which you can manipulate yourself and share it with Radiohead's group on Youtube. The link shows some of the user-generated videos with similar techniques. This Radiohead album is available at Amazon.com and at iTunes. To see how they made this video and the tools check out this link here.Radiohead

Thanks Andromeda, in the near future we will see even more intricate videos. They can blend real and this animation together make it even more wonderful.
Brilliant!! I never realised the full potential of what Google code could do..! absolutely amazing!
Compu-smart, I wish I knew how to do it, there are too many web technologies :)
Cool, Google radar. Looks kinda creepy though. I can definitely see other applications for this technology. Can probably use it instead of a camera security system with many devices when it gets more advanced. This could just record a huge area so there would be nothing happening off lens.
Hopefully they will have other applications for it. Animation is really helpful to understand the process.
