AFter three months the workers in compression stockings did not have any swelling at the end of the work day. Swelling was decreased in 43% of the workers who wore compression stockings . In comparison, only 14% of those laborers standing on rubber mats displayed a decrease with swelling in their legs. Are you ready for this, 50% of those workers increased leg swelling after a day spent standing on the mats.

Results at the end of the three-month study period, just "27% of the workers (regularly wearing sexy compression stockings) reported... any leg problems, when it was 70% in the beginning." However, the employees left to stand on rubber matts still had the same complaints, if not more.

The wearing of compression stockings was definitely an improvement and can only get better if proper fit is insured. Workers wearing compression stockings that complained of the fit were 13%. "If the workers took the time to find the right size of support pantyhose, they usually appreciated the noticable benefits from wearing.

The next best legwear besides the compression stockings are the new colorful tights popping up everywhere, it looks like 2009 will be the year of tights and leggings.
