Wii Fit Plus
So I just found out that Nintendo will introduce a new Wii Fit Plus by the end of the year. Same balance board, and new games. The board will be a little more expensive, at a hundred bucks. People with a Wii Fit can just by the upgrade disc for 20 Bucks. As usual, despite a recession, we can expect to wait and fight tooth and nail and wait another couple of months before we can buy one. Nintendo is sneaky in creating false shortages. But hey it works. Anyhoo, here's the video preview.

Wii Fit Plus 10 More Dollars
I say don't bother, my method, Maximum Wii Fit is still more effective. The games look fairly similar to part one. At the end of the day, it's the same 6 inch balance board. I do my Maximum Wii Fit once a week, sometimes twice. Last year I was going 3, maybe four times a week. This year, I went on a real diet, and started doing PX90, and I've shed more weight, no thanks to Wii Fit.
There are a few cool looking things I guess. At least this gives you the ability to design your workout automatically rather than keep on going back and forth to press buttons and select another workout, which is very tedious in the original version. The obstacle course game looks interesting, and I already know how I'll make that one into a real workout.
But it's basically the same as the oriinal Wii Fit. My Wii Fit is a glorified stepper, and expensive scale that tells me my Body Mass Index..
You'll still need to strap on a weight vest get a couple dumbles, ankle weights, and an extra stepper to give you a real workout.
In case you forgot, here's what I do once a week, just to burn a few extra calories, and it gives me something constructive to do while I watch TV.
My Wii Fit Workout is Still Better
Final Word
I shouldn't be talking since I banked on Wii Fit last year. But how fat and lazy are people, that they try to trick yourselves into exercising by playing a video game?
It's ironic how the commercials don't have hefty people in them, when we all know there's some chubbies out there thinking, Wii Fit is the Answer. I'm yet to see a person on TV crying on some infomercial talking about how Wii Changed their life. And what's with the dog in the Wii Fit Plaza? Is the dog trying to lose weight too? Here's a couple novel ideas...why don't the owner go on a diet and eat something healthy so when they feed their scraps (if there's any left) to Fido, it's a bit healthier. Here's another idea...Humans usually have 2 feet, dogs have 4, hmmm why don't you take your pup out for a walk, maybe a jog. Get some sun and air, and burn some real calories while getting fresh air.
I don't hate Nintendo, but I like good health. I recently discovered good health, and have become a fan of a routine working out. I played football for 8 years, so I was always training to begin with. But I'm no longer a football player, so no need to run the hills or do power cleans. If you want a good workout check out some Beachbody videos, or go to a real Yoga Class. People are listening to computers too much. If you want a fairly accurate scale, and a stepper that talks to you...then go ahead and get a Wii Fit Plus.
I'll probably end up buying the disc anyways, but I have the intention of Maximizing it, and making something better out of it.
