Relax This New Year on a Cruise

New Year is a wonderful time to celebrate the past year and look forward to the year to come. It is also a great time to get away from the winter weather and bask in the warm sun on the deck of a cruise ship for a weekend cruise or a 7 day cruise. During the winter months, there are a lot of warm cruise destinations like the Bahamas, Caribbean or Hawaii.

Cruises can take you island hopping to sunny beaches with warm sand, quaint shops, and excellent local restaurants to help you relax after a busy holiday season. On the cruise ship you are cut off from the world, and can spend the time with your spouse, or lover relaxing on deck or eating in one of the cruise ships fine dining areas. At night you can be entertained by the cruise ships many shows, bars, and nightclubs. If the cruise ship is docked, you can tour the entertainments on land, and spend the evenings having fun in exotic locations.

The Bahamas is a Popular Cruise Destination

Cruising to the Bahamas is a wonderful way to spend the New Year. You can fly to Fort Lauderdale or another Florida location, hop on the cruise ship there, then enjoy a short trip to the Bahamas.  The time spent on board the cruise ship is relaxing and laid back.  Lots of superb dining experiences to enjoy on board, while relaxing on deck or dining in one of the cruise ships dining rooms.

Once you get to the Bahamas, you can tour the island, spend some time in a casino, or just visit the local shops and beaches.  Make sure to take your sunscreen because the sun is strong in the Bahamas, and your winter skin isn't used to the warm sun.

Week Long Caribbean Cruises

Traveling the Caribbean islands on a cruise ship is something that everyone should try at least once.  The Caribbean waters are so very clear and blue, they really should be visited in person.  Lovely sandy beaches, and colorful fish swimming in the water, with beautiful coral reefs to snorkel around.  A 7 day cruise is really necessary if you are going to the Caribbean, because otherwise you spend all of your time getting there and back, and don't really get enough time on the different Caribbean islands.

The tropical feel of a Caribbean cruise is a relaxing and fun experience. There are many destinations to discover including Grand Cayman, Cozumel, Belize, and Roatan.

Disney Cruises

Disney Cruises are Perfect for Families

Disney cruises are designed with families in mind. The Disney cruises have activities for children and adults, and have several Disney characters aboard every cruise ship. Many of their cruises combine the cruise portion with a stay at Walt Disney World in Florida, and their cruise services are just what you can expect from Walt Disney World vacations. Disney has their own cruise line which they use for most of their cruises.

Hawaii is a Destination Not to Be Missed

Everyone should visit Hawaii at least once in their life.  It is a tropical destination unlike any other.  Taking a cruise ship to Hawaii just makes the experience even better.

You take a cruise to Hawaii and experience the fine dining, entertainment and relaxation of the cruise ship, then you can stay in Hawaii as long as you like afterwards visiting the Hawaiian islands.  Hawaii by itself is a very relaxing destination, with the temperate weather, and beautiful beaches.  Hawaii has a lot of interesting cultural areas to visit, and it is easy to hop islands to see the volcanos, and tropical waters.

Great information on cruising! I love cruising. Good photos. Now that some cruise lines go out of Galveston, they are right next door and so tempting. Take a look at my hubs if you want, and please comment if you have any suggestions. Keep up the good work.- Carol
