OK so every year many of us make New Years Resolutions only to find that by the end of January we haven't been able to meet our goals. There are some exceptions!

Last year I made 3 resolutions (1) Quit Smoking (2) get more exercise (3) lose weight

So where am I today as we approach NY 2008? I'm still smoking. I do exercise every day and I have lost more than 30 lbs during 2007. So I guess 2 out of 3 isn't so bad!

So I'm going to leave the "Quit Smoking" out of my 2008 resolutions, because I am officially convinced it's not going to happen and why set myself up to fail!

So my 2008 resolutions will be this:

1) Continue exercising

2) Be more organized

3) Be more involved in my volunteer activites

4) Spend more wisely

5) Be debt free by the end of 2008

Now normally I would never make 5 resolutions, but I have a lot I'd like to accomplish during 2008 and this will be a good starting point for those goals. I have just recently started working at home as a freelancer and these resolutions (and my ability to keep them) will be a true measure of how successful I will be!
