72New Jersey State oficials announced yesterday that New Jersey lottery has surpassed the $2.5 billion sales mark for the seventh consecutive year.
This past fiscal year was another strong one in terms of sales, overall winners, retailer commission and contributions back to the Garden State, according to the acting Executive Director of the Lottery and also the Lottery Chairman.

A single winning ticket for Tuesday night's $126 million Mega Millions drawing was sold at Newark's A&J Seabra Supermarket in Essex County, NJ Lottery officials said.A winner has yet to come forward, but if they take the one-time lump sump payment, they'll get an estimated $75.5 million before taxes, said Dominick DeMarco, a NJ Lottery spokesman. After federal taxes, the cash amount would be about $56.5 million. If the winner opts for annual payments, they'll get an estimated $4.8 million a year for 26 years, he added.
