Redoo.com which hasn’t been really open to the public yet hasn’t been picked up by iask.com or zhongsou.com yet.

If you search for redoo.com ( it’s sorta like netvibes without the drag and drop feature) or it’s chinese name 热度 you won’t find it.

You can find it on google,Sogou,Yahoo,Msn but not on sina or zhongsou.

Interesting is that Baidu has rejected to include Redoo.com ( which will be featured shortly after this post ), it’s not necessarely because of baidu.com but more because redoo doesn’t meet the criterias. ( google has them too see )

1.The site is pretty big, and’s got a lot of information on it, but the way baidu must perceive it it’s still a personal site.

To baidu it must look like this is a site that copys ( rss ) other peoples content, don’t even want to know how many other sites, have been killed off like that.

2. The site points to directories like /subscribe/

also as soon as you type in redoo.com you are beeing redirected to www.redoo.com/home.php

3. Their Meta Keywords tag is unbelievably unreasonable. (unbelievable was added by me )

(*translated*) Taiwan Sea, Condoms,WTF, debt company, Army buys,AIDS and a few others. What the hell?

4. After all redoo.com is big, it’s got an awfull lot of users, however Alexa’s numbers don’t seem to agree here.

Since it’s been taken out from Baidu maybe their traffics gotten a hit, but in the end only the responsible people at redoo.com are really clear about this situation at the moment.

Why does baidu delete big sites like that? same as yesky?

Maybe because of the private beta? Maybe because of personal reasons?

Also because of previous acts, it’s very likely that Baidu has intervened here.

Of course if the site has just been deleted in the past few days it could be Baidu’s revenge.”

I want to add some things first, tianji and redoo are huge sites here.

Tianji is more for like IT news peeps but it got all the little web 2.0 featueres on their site.

There was some controversy in the last few days why a big site like this with obviously a lot of information has been taken out of the baidu search.

Now the same seemed to have happened with redoo.com

Of course they have some real unreasonable unfitting Meta Keywords, but couldn’t it be ranked lower for that?

Maybe Baidu people think these keywords are illegal.

I don’t know, but with redoo.com it’s more like they are to blame themselves,

with tianji? I don’t know, I actually like the site>

Well we’ll have to see in how this is going to end in the future.

I think we can add another rule to SEO from this now,

“Don’t piss the Search-engines off”
