Alabama Offers Amazing News Design

In the first state of my news design journey, I found Alabama to be surprisingly hip to the news design trends. From exciting front page flags, complete with great photographs or graphic artwork, to bold headline fonts, appealing use of typography and excellent infographics, newspapers in Alabama offer readers some of the best news design in the nation.

In particular, the news designs of The Gadsden Times, Huntsville Times and Birmingham News and Tuscaloosa News were hands down the best in the state--and maybe even the country!
