TV networks and newspaper seem to be running same stories everyday. I'm not sure if this is just my perception or if what. Seems the same sound bites, video and pictures are all the same. Headline news is same as every other channel. Newspaper seem to be following same pattern.

This past month for example filled with news and talk shows about useless so called news and second guessing on what could, should or may have happened or said. Have we reached a point when there is no new news so we are filling our new media with same things from same sources? And seems status quo is there is no good news to report as does help rating.

Is it we really don't anything new to say or show? Has thews media been reduced to just entertainment?

Have all the real reporters of news gotten so interested in ratings than they are no longer looking for new information or at least a fresh slant on a breaking story?

How can this be in a world and country with so many different people and things going on?

Do we have such a short attenton spand we jump from a war front to a suspected child molester?

The recent news coverage od the extradition from Thailand back to US as suspect in CO child murder case that was over 10 years ago and only to find out there never was enough to charge him with much less ant chance od convecting. We were filling our news networks and papers with same thing over and over.

We quickly filled the next week or so with Mr. Jeffs, and accused polyomists and one FBI's 10 most wanted. How can that be? Not to say what he was accused of wasn't wrong, but we have a system to deal with that in courts. And how can it be he is in top ten most wanted by FBI? Make you wonder why e is in this top ten and you mean to say he ranks in most dangerious as Bein Laden and Drug king pins?

FBI must be following same ratings as networks, and its no wonder we can't stop drug trafficing or other high profile crimes. And forget even thinking about the white collar and fraud cases.

Ok am I not seeing the big picture? Someone help me.

The imigration issue is truely a broke system with our southern neighbors. Although I'm sure I don't have all the answeres, I know there is no way the current adminstration ever had a chance to even fix this if they wanted too. As far back as the Carter Adminstration there were proposals and laws passed to secure these areas. Clinton adminstration beefed up the requirements and laws , even adding 5000 border guards to southern borders. But some how none were ever funded properly. Don't hear anyone from Congress or news bring this up. Guess must be another election year. Not good subject to think our officials responsible for funding and oversight to have to answer for.
