New sneakers inspired by Xbox

I realize that many men have a personal relationship with their video games. I know, my oldest son would rather play video games than live life. However, isn't there a line that video games and men's fashion should not cross. Obviously not.
On Yahoo news, they have found a pair of Xbox sneakers found on ebay that are going for $2,500. Yup, you read right, $2,500. And to answer you, no, they are not interactive with the Xbox game console. They do light up the Xbox logo with fiber optics and they have a battery located in the tongue of the shoe - it has two settings: strobe or constant. They are made with patent leather, hmmm... thats worth the price tag. Yes? The pricey sneaker is made by Sole junkies.
I wondered as I read this article if this sneaker will actually sell, according to the owner of Sole Junkies, he has already had offers. So, I say sell away.
