Niche marketing on the internet is one of the most powerful ways to make money online. There is a niche for just about anything and everything people search for on the internet and they all include many sub niches, which in many cases are often overlooked.

In internet niche marketing a niche is basically an area of interest; pets, golf, health and fitness, wellness, relationships, etc. In order to make money from any of these niches you must be able to market products or services from them, either through a web site you own, a product you own within a niche, or through an affiliate link. To market the products you have to drive traffic to them using paid or free methods. Niches, however, are very broad and competitive making it potentially an expensive method on the paid side or very frustrating on the free side; thousands are vying for the same traffic you are.

To better improve your opportunities in internet niche marketing, you have to “drill down” further within these niches and find specific topics, or sub niches, people are searching for and campaign around these. For example, a golfer may want information on how to cure their hook. They would search for specific information, in a sub niche, on how to cure their hook. A marketer could potentially generate more targeted traffic and conversions by focusing their efforts in the “how to cure your hook” sub niche of the golf niche.
