I'm interested in taking a look at this program. Will definitely check back here for the release.
I tried BANS and didn't like it for exactly this reason - if the actual content is so limited it can be automated, it's not the kind of site I want to run.
I worry that BANS sites will have a limited life because many BANS users are creating not one, but hundreds of stores in a scattergun approach with thin content. Personally, I'm switching to phpBay which allows me to build a content-rich site with a store attached, which I'm hoping will have more longevity (plus it's more satisfying for me!). I'll write a Hub to compare the two once I've had some experience of it.
