Enjoy the soft whisper of the night
Glance at the stars tonight
See the blink of light
Whisper, kiss and wish with all your might
Live to the fullest

Ladybird, I'm having trouble finding the right words to Comment correctly on this one, because (to me, anyway) this poem is actually incredibly (and successfully) complex. It's like one of those songs you hear on the radio. You like it a lot, it sounds easy to sing--but it's not.
Their are layers of emotion in this piece, each separate yet all blended together like the ingredients of a well baked cake.
Please do keep on writing. My first "great" poem was written when I was thirteen, but the next in that category didn't pop out of my pen until I'd turned forty-four. You can beat that record without a doubt! :D
