Nikon Monarch Rifle Scope

The Nikon Monarch scope - A Great Value

Nikon's new Monarch rifle scopes are the best selling scopes we currently have at The Rifle Scope Store. Featuring new technology at a very favorable price point, the Monarch may be the scope for you. Let's take a look at some of the Monarch's great features.

The first you will notice is the extremely clear sight picture. The Monarch's optics have 95% light transmission. Nikon is known for their high quality glass and the Monarch does not disappoint.

The next thing you will notice is the very large eyebox. This allows for a 4 fold increase in magnification. Where as a standard scope would be, for example, 3-9x, the Monarch is 3-12x. This feature gives you a greater range of magnification to choose from therefore making the scope more useful.

The 3-12x and higher magnification Monarch's have a side focus. The allows you to set the range you are looking at and have a perfectly clear site picture from 50 yards to infinity, regardless of the magnification. This feature come in handy when you are looking at long distance targets.

The standard diameter objective lens is 42mm, slightly larger than a standard scope 40mm objective lens allowing more light to pass through the scope and gives you better low light performance.

The power ring is very smooth and easy to operate. The windage and elevation adjustments and 1/4 inch MOA, and are finger adjustable. The main tube is made of forged aluminum and is very strong. Everything about the Monarch is high quality.

The Nikon Monarch scope comes in a variety of magnifications and objective lens diameters: 2-8x 32mm, 2.5-10x 42mm, 2.5-10x 50mm, 3-12x 42mm, 4-14x 42mm, 4-16x 50mm, 5-20x 44mm, 6-12x 50mm and 8-32x 50mm.

A choice of reticles is available: Nikoplex, BDC, Mil-dot and fine cross hair.

As with all Nikon scopes, the Monarch is fog proof, waterproof, shockproof and has Nikon's lifetime warranty.
