NINTENDO DS (DOUBLE SCREEN)

My youngest son Bryan 5 recieved a Nintendo DS Lite from santa this year and with it he got a Nintendogs game,The Sims 2 Pets game and the game from the movie Iceage 2.

Ice age 2 and The Sims 2 Pets I cannot comment on yet because they are still sealed in their boxes untouched,but when it comes to Nintendogs my son has a new pet he takes it walks ,pets it,plays frizbee with it,feeds and waters it, and he talks constantly to his little alsation pup called Zac.

he is having lots of fun and he worries about his dog when he has to switch the DS off for dinner ,bath or bed time.

I had a go last night and it is a very adictive,but unlike a real puppy you can turn it off when you want to lol,the graphics are excellent the sound is great too but it takes a little time for the game to recognise your voice but my broad Scottish accent probably didnt help,all in all if your child wants a dog try him/her out with a Nintendog first because they are quite realistic.

The Nintendo ds is a cool gaming machine I would reccomend it to anyone my eldest son Robert got 1 last year and I have never seen a bad game on it yet.

PSP Playstation Portable

My daughter Jennifer 8 recieved a PSP from Santa this year with it she got a game called Ape Escape, a game based on the movie Open Season,and a Scooby Doo game.

Like Bryan I cannot comment on the Scooby doo or Open Season games yet because they are still sealed in the box.

Ape Escape is based on the game rock,paper,scissors you chose a card and the comp choses a card if your card i.e is scissors and the comp card is paper you get a challenge that if you win the comp loses points but if you lose you dont lose any points, if the computer wins with scissors and you have paper,then if you lose the challenge you lose the points if you beat the computer and leave it with zero points you move on to the next level.

It is a really addictive game and Jennifer has played it for hours the graphics are great,the sound is great I would love to try a high speed game on it to really test it but so far I rate the PSP very highly.

XBOX 360

My eldest son Robert 9 recieved an XBOX 360 from Santa and with it he got 2 games Fifa 2007 (Soccer) and the game Open Season based on the movie ofcourse .

The Xbox was easy to set up to his TV and he was up and playing within 5 minutes.

I cannot comment on Open season because Robert is a soccer fanatic and would be in his room playig Fifa 2007 24/7 if you let him.

He already has Fifa 2007 on his Playstation 2 so I had something to compare the X box360 too and wow! the Graphics are far superior,the game runs alot faster and the sound is fantastic compared to the PS2 the XBOX360 Is an awesome machine I even found the controllers alot easier to get to grips with.

I reccomend the XBOX360 to everyone and just wish I had got it sooner.
