Niseko Real Estate

Niseko Real Estate was established in 2000 and enables non-Japanese residents a window of opportunity into buying into Japan property in Niseko. Niseko has recently been voted as the world's 2nd snowiest resort by Forbes Traveler. Niseko property is also Japan's strongest and fastest growing property market in Japan during the last few years. Originally fueled by Australian's investing buying anything they could get their hands on due to the extremely low prices, especially when compared to more developed snow focused real estate markets such as Canada's Whistler or European destinations. Additional factors included the massive snowfall levels that the Niseko area receives, compared to Australia and other world renowned destinations, short flights from any of the Australian capital cities and an experience that you cannot find any were in the world - Japanese culture. However, it was not long before the word got out and the rest of the world started to catch onto the Niseko burst, other Asian countries started to have an interest in snow sports and the curiosity lead them straight to Niseko. They have brought with them some very deep pockets and also started to snatch up any real estate that came on the market to take advantage of the massive capital appreciation that happening year on year, it was not out of the question to see land prices more than double within 12 months and be listed as sold within weeks of being available.

Today we see the start of the big players entering the market with development groups and hotel chains such as Hilton Hotels recently opening their doors and other international resort companies purchasing large sites surrounding the village with the intent of transforming Niseko into a world class international year round destination.

This massive recent injection of development and infrastructure will push the Niseko real estate market into another growth era and again drive prices higher again.

With so many of the worlds real estate markets, like the U.S., in trouble it would be a wise and profitable option to look into purchasing into a real estate market that is looking very bright for the future and has been profitable year after year.
