What is a no dig garden? A no dig garden, consists of layering organic materials on top of the soil to produce a nutrient rich environment for your plants, specially vegetables. The garden literally composts the materials while feeding the plants. A no dig garden transforms an infertile area into a productive nutrient rich organic one.

Nice hub with awesome pictures I think no dig is similar to growing plants earthen pots. but can you tell me how can we grow big trees by this method. I think no dig is suitable only to small plants.

@shamelabboush, thank you for your comment. Yes, it's true, we can have it anywhere, i know a person that has a no dig garden inside is home.

@clara ghomes, for big trees is not the right choice. A no dig garden is very useful specially for vegetables. However, if you look at the tomato plant, it grows a lot, almost a "big tree".
