No More Internet or Email

Ze Frank famously produced a video blog. "The Show," posting a new video each business day for one year.

My experiment will be different, and will require a different kind of discipline.

For one year I will not surf, search, look at or otherwise use the internet. Starting February 1, 2008.

One year.

This is my last blog entry for one year. I will not make a new hub page until February 1, 2009.

Beginning March 1, 2008, I will no longer use email to send or to read correspondence. I need a month run off time to be sure all old business is wrapped up. My Gmail account will auto respond to inbound email to explain my absence from electronic correspondence for one year.

I won't watch broadcast, satellite or cable television.

One year.

I will not listen to broadcast or satellite radio.

One year.

I will not read a magazine, a newspaper or a work of fiction.

See you in a year.
