No thanks, Just Appreciate
68Appreciation, defines (Best thing to do after saying Thanks)
A noun, which means thanks or gratitude; an assessment of the true worth or value of persons or things; perceptive recognition of qualities, as in art; an increase in value, as of goods or property; a written review of a book, etc, esp when favourable (Collins English Electronic Dictionary - Digital Edition: 2008© HarperCollins Publishers 2008)
For this day, how many times did you say "thank you" to a friend or collegues, or even to a stranger? I guess, you can't count. Let me see... did you say thank you when someone offered you a seat just a while ago because there is no vacant seat inside the bus where you happened to ride in? Yeah... how about saying thank you to a waiter who has taken your orders of food during your lunch date with your friends? Ok...what did you do after giving thanks... did you find yourself seating on his comfortable place? Well, that is good. The waiter took so long to give your foods due to some reasons, you yelled at her instead of being patient. Oh, I think there is no appreciation at that point. You thanked her from taking your orders but due to some erroneous mistakes that you find at her, you still became impatient. What is the sense of saying thank you before you did the yelling? The moment that you uttered the word "Thanks" your perception would have to be the value of his or her worth. Your first emotions (saying thank you) is somehow contrast to your next move (which is yelling at her). Sometimes, it may be hard most especially when you are stressed, tired that you can't really control ypur emotions or patience.
Thank you, means Appreciation
You don't say thank you, when you are angry, do you? Well, if you do, do you appreciate those favorable things that he or she does for you. I don't think so. It's hard to say thank you when you're angry or can you thank me, lets say for exxample when I did something untoward things against you that you got angry of me? Nah...When you can thank a people you hated so much then you're not totally angry to theperson, right. The point is that, we, as human beings should act the way what we are feeling about. Hypocrisy will come along our way if we practice this kind of manners. Things like that. That, thank you means appreciation. That, everytime we speak and give thanks, appreciation comes next. Because the value of giving thanks is APPRECIATION. Accepting an award of being the best is simply a form of appreciation. Because they value your piece of work. They see you. You are visible to them, in other words, you are worthy to them, and they gave you such an outstanding award. That's simply an appreciation... to be thankful for.
See the process flow. Thank you <--> Appreciate <--> Thank you
It never stops.
