Do you have a friend who dresses like a slob, a mom who dresses like a teen-ager, or a sister whose clothing is stuck in the 1970s? Or are you the ultimate fashion disaster? You can nominate yourself or someone you know to be on the extremely popular TLC network show, "What Not to Wear." Females chosen for WNTW get fashion advice from co-hosts Stacy London and Clinton Kelly, a complete makeover and a $5,000 credit card for wardrobe shopping.

Check the TLC website to find out if WNTW is holding casting calls in your city. If that's the case and it's convenient, you can nominate yourself or someone else by showing up and filling out a nomination form. If not, you can go to the TLC website and look for the link to "What Not to Wear," then the link, "Be on the Show." You'll be asked to email two recent photos of the nominee, her name, age, location, size, and marital status, to WhatNotToWear@bbcnyproduction.com. Include in the email some information that describes how your nominee typically dresses.

Tell the producers if your nominee falls into any of these coveted categories: showgirl, cowgirl, female construction worker, bridesmaid, exotic dancer, recent weight loss, biker babe, pop star look-alike, supermodel wannabe, sorority sister, newly divorced, stuck in the '70s. "What Not to Wear" is especially looking for people who fit these categories.

If you've nominated yourself or someone else for the show and have not seen it, now's the time. WNTW can be a bit embarrassing for the nominee, especially if this is unexpected. The nominee is secretly videotaped in what she routinely wears, and Stacy and Clinton literally pounce on the "victim" to surprise her. The show also throws out your existing wardrobe so you can start all over.
