Non shedding small dogs are the dogs that lose little or no hair and release little dander if any. Most of these dogs are hypoallergenic. If you are a dog lover and don’t want to endure that constant sneezing then this is the type of dog for you.

However, you should make sure whether the dog is hypoallergenic and you can tolerate it before purchase it. This is especially true for people who are severely allergic, as they may find that even the hypoallergenic dogs make them sneeze and cause other symptoms. The reason for this is that allergens are contained in proteins which are mostly released through saliva and dander.

Unluckily, the majority of dogs shed to some degree, even the alleged non-shedding breeds. However, the following group of dogs shed much less: Shihtzu (can be quite feisty), Dachshund (female dogs tend to shed much more than male ones), Boston Terrier, Bichon Frise (this dog may require a lot of maintenance), West Highland Terrier (has a double coat with the outer one wiry and the inner one soft). These five dog breeds will let you experience the canine companionship without suffering from allergies.

Best Dog for Kids

While it is the wish of every parent to get a dog for kids, getting the best can be quite a task. If you have many kids, each of them is different and some of them may not be very fond of dogs. Choosing the best dog for kids is just a matter of looking into the lifestyle of the kids and determining which kind of dog will suit them.

Getting the right size of dog according to the age of the kid is important but since kids are growing, perhaps the best choice could be a small puppy that you rear so that the kids grow up with it and it gets used to them and the family as a whole. Health issues with dogs are essential considerations since some kids are allergic to certain dog breeds. The best dog for kids does not pose any danger to their health. Best dogs are also healthy and friendly to the kids and can play safe.

Since you cannot be around your kids and the dog all the time, the best dog should be the one that you trust to leave alone with the kids knowing it will not do any harm but protect them.
