actually in my opinion norton is loosing its brand name with more popular brands in anti-virus field like macfee and avg.the reson for this is because many of the users including me feel that norton is a slow processing anti virus.it not upto the mark according to me.

Norton although is working continously be make its service better and reliable but in the over exceeding population of antivirus, norton is lost some where behind the latest and the best known antivirus.

i would preffer using AVG as it has great support and speed(i m having a low speed processor)

Still norton is decent in some cases regarding internet security, firewall etc

I too bought Norton and it is great in protecting our computer from attacks. For example some webites are loaded with bugs which attack us the moment we enter their page eg pornsites, photosites etc and Norton immediatly shield the attack and inform us in a small pop up window the info of the bug which just attacked me. But im not sure how reliable it is when coming up against brand new viruses which are being created at a abnormally large speed. A thousand new bugs would have been released even as i type this. Thats how dangerous it is and we need something reliable. If Norton lets me down, thats it there is no second chance if the bug was strong and fatal. Thats why i really hope to know whether Norton can be counted on whenever i surf the net. Thank for the info.
