I often hear of people seeking ways to make money working at home, as a means to support themself and their family or as a stream of extra cash. Regardless of the reason for seeking  legitimate work from home jobs, the responses are always the same: "Do online surveys for cash, write a blog and earn advertising income, start a website and sell something, sell stuff on online auctions"...In all honesty, I can't stand these options. They are pretty much the standard response. So, in my persistance to answer the "work from home" question, I have found some work from home jobs that generate anywhere from a bit of extra money to full time income - AND - they are not the usual "work from home" jobs. Of course, the amount of money you make depends greatly on how much you work and the actual type of work.

Sum Up Your Skills

Perhaps you have skills that were not truly utilized in your past work experiences. Evaluate what you can do. And what you like to do. Are you creative? Do you like to help people? Do you enjoy teahcing people? Put some thought in how you really want to spend your time. Be honest. Don't think you're bound to stay in the same career path. Take this opportunity to really evaluate what you know and how to utilize your skills.
