Don't Waste Money on These Baby Items
65
There are so many things that parents need to buy for their newborns, some of the cost of these items are so outrageous. I personally don't think you need to buy every single item that is recommended. Below is my "can do without" list; I hope that it will help you out.
Don't Waste Money on These Baby Items
1. Changing tables. You will find yourself changing your baby on the carpet or in his/her crib mostly. Plus, when the baby starts to roll over, it will not be safe to use the changing table anyway.
2. Crib Comforter. It is not safe to cover your baby with a comforter.
3. Baby swing. My baby hated it. He wouldn't let me put him in the swing.
4. Baby life insurance. Your baby is not the breadwinner of the family, so he/she doesn't need life insurance.
5. Baby foods. Just blend up some meats, vegetables or fruits, your homemade food is much more nutritious and yummy than the bottled ones. You don't need to add spices; baby's taste buds are very sensitive. They enjoy foods in their natural state.
6. Diaper bags. Everybody has one or two backpacks lying around the house, so instead of buying a diaper bag, just use your backpack.
7. Baby shoes. Your baby won't be walking for a long while.
8. Toys. Babies love playing with household items like tupperware, plastic bottles, pots and pans.

Don't feel bad, I have bought quite a few baby items that are not very useful. That's why I wrote this hub to help others.
