Notes on a Sermon
51Okay, so this is basically just my thoughts and notes during a sermon...so, don't expect much. It's not really anything, just more of my poetry. I don't even know what some of it means, so...yeah. Have at it, I suppose.
^_^
Behind; it's a grind.
What is behind anyway?
Wake up natural?
Good? Bad? Beautiful?
~
Skimming not swimming.
What happened to depth?
Too much time,
we can almost complete!
~
Drift, adrift, drifting away...
how can life go by without life?
Where is the life in this un-life?
Living, being, resting!
~
Purpose:
God.
God is.
I am his.
He is mine.
Oh, what divine
happiness!
Bliss.
~
Editing.
Pens, ink,
pencils and erasers.
Clicking keys,
type away.
Away type, off.
Spit it out,
ticking off.
~
Boundaries;
I wish I had them.
Need them, want them,
got to find them!
~
Wedding;
celebrate!
Party on for Jesus!
Joy laid-back.
~
Morality;
a goal for the purposeless,
a purpose for the godless.
Remember our freedom!
No more rules,
no more regulations,
no more religion!
Not for the relational.
~
Stuff
sticks, slowly
sucking me down,
stifling and suffocating us.
Collecting,
competing,
contaminating our souls.
Let it go.
~
Screaming possessions
controlling your soul.
Why listen to the soulless
tell you how to come alive?
~
Blessing showers
then dries up
and I forget the rainfall.
Live like it never happened.
~
Stress, greed,
how they cling
to one another
and to me.
The worst part
of the whole mess
is how much
I cling back.
~
Seek,
look,
questing and
searching.
Finding,
catching,
new object for clinging.
Kingdom!
It's here!
Here, now, yes!
See it,
feel it,
touch it,
know it,
be it.
~
Forget community
and you forget yourself.
No peace
when we're in pieces.
Know peace,
know each other.
~
Am I a slave,
absorbed by culture
into un-me,
pro-not-me?
Am I free
to give up the anti-me?
Am I free to trust
and to live?

I've been away from Hubpages for awhile, but, I see I've missed some things. I'm not big on abstract, but, this is more of how a mind thinks when it processess a hundred thoughts a minute. I really can understand this. Great Job!!!!
