NU SKIN ENTERPRISES – (A CULTURE OF) SHARING AND CARING AROUND THE WORLD

Apart from offering entrepreneurs a fulfilling, fun opportunity to banish the 9 to 5 blues and generate a sizeable income, Nu Skin Enterprises’ humanitarian and environmental initiatives make it a “force for good” around the world.

If you're investigating a Network Marketing opportunity and you are socially conscious and find meaning in making a difference in the lives of the less fortunate, read on- this might just be for you.

The company is committed to a number of significant projects, under the banner of the Nu Skin Force for Good Foundation – a non-profit organisation aimed at improving the quality of children’s lives, and protecting vulnerable cultures and environments.

Nu Skin Force for Good Foundation Partnerships

Epidermolysis Bullosa Medical Research Foundation (EBMRF)

Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB) is an unsightly, disabling, genetically- transmitted skin disorder which causes permanent blisters and lesions on the faces and bodies of children and young adults.

There are roughly 100 000 sufferers in the USA alone, affected in varying degrees of severity, from mild to fatal. The disease, which can cover up to 75% of the body, is exacerbated by even the slightest physical contact.

Dubbed “Butterfly Children” due to their unusually delicate skin structures, patients have a powerful ally in the fight against EB, through the Nu Skin Force for Good Foundation’s ongoing relationship with the Epidermolysis Bullosa Medical Research foundation (EBMRF).

Since 1996, Nu Skin Enterprises has donated more than $15 million dollars to research. Pioneering clinical trials aim to provide “new skin” to young EB sufferers, and a cure for the devastating disease.

The Seacology Foundation

Over a decade ago, the Nu Skin Force for Good Foundation embarked on a partnership with the Seacology Foundation. Founded by ethnobotanist Dr. Paul Cox, this non-profit, non-governmental organization is dedicated to preserving the eco-systems and cultures of islands around the globe, through various critical conservation projects.

By empowering indigenous communities to undertake these projects themselves, Seacology helps them to protect their flora, fauna and natural surroundings in a sustainable way.

The Nu Skin Force for Good Foundation has been a major contributor to the success of Seacology. Through its continuing support, young indigenous people are learning to care for their environment, and pass on their unique cultures and traditions to future generations.

Nourish the Children

In 2002, Nu Skin Enterprises launched the Nourish the Children Initiative to assist starvation-stricken areas in Africa, China, Southeast Asia and South America.

This powerful initiative unites Nu Skin Enterprises with its extensive international distributor network, saving millions of young lives around the world, by providing scientifically developed VitaMeal - a nutrient-rich food designed specifically to suit the dietary needs of chronically malnourished children.

In November 2007, Nu Skin Enterprises celebrated the donation of 100 million meals through the Nourish the Children program!

Apart from its mission to address world hunger on an ongoing basis, Nourish the Children (with the aid of numerous affiliated charities), also sends millions of meals to victims of environmental disasters such as the recent earthquake in China, the hurricanes along the Gulf Coast and the tsunami in Southeast Asia.

Through “caring and sharing” initiatives such as these, Nu Skin Enterprises not only addresses serious global issues, but also helps to foster a culture of social responsibility amongst Nu Skin distributors and customers alike.

The Nuskin Network Marketing Opportunity provides an outlet for the socially conscious. It has a fantastic culture of caring and making a difference.

However, make sure you investigate Nuskin Products, Nuskin Compensation plan and a good Nuskin Team and Upline sponsor before you jump in with the somewhat hefty committmnent in time and money- that MLM success requires.
