Nuby Sippy Cup Replacement Spouts - Two in a Pack

Nuby Sippy Cup Replacement Spouts - Fit the 10 oz Nuby Sippy Cup

Nuby sippy cup replacement spouts are finally here. Moms and dads and grandparents can now keep their baby and toddler's favorite Nuby sippy cup and just replace the spouts as needed.

The Nuby sippy cup replacement spouts are only made for the 10 oz / 295 ml Nuby sippy gripper cups. They measure about 2 inches around or 5 cm. The rims are just slightly over 2 1/2 inches or 7 cm. The replacement spouts do not come with the rims, just the spouts.

These replacement spouts are a great idea because they save parents from having to buy new cups everytime their toddler chews the spout to the point that it drips. This also keeps parents from having to throw away an old cup because the spout no longer works. They can now save the cups and keep them out of the landfills. It's such a waste not to use a Nuby sippy cup replacement spout because the cups hold up quite well. They are dishwasher safe and can last long after your toddler is finished with them.

Great Transition Cups for Babies from Bottle to Sippy Cup

Many parents like the Nuby sippy cup because it is a great transition cup for babies to go from the bottle to a sippy cup. The spout is a comfortable, soft silicone and the nuby sippy cup bottle has indentations so your baby can grip the cup more easily.

The Nuby sippy cup replacement spouts are great to have as a back up if your baby's spout becomes worn after a month or two. It's always a good idea to check the spouts, especially after your baby gets teeth.

Nuby Sippy Cup Replacement Spout Close Up

The Nuby sippy cup replacement spouts may come in different packaging but the spouts are the same. Here you see a good close up of what the spout looks like without the rim. It's soft and silicone and toddler's love to chew on the spouts. Baby's like to chew on them when they are getting teeth. That's not what they are made for, but it works for them!

Nuby Sippy Cup Replacement Spouts are BPA Free

With all of the controversy over BPA, Bisphenol A, a chemical additive (see my other Nuby hub that talks more about BPA), this Nuby spout has been deemed to be BPA free.

It is important to check your baby's spouts often to make sure, especially as they start to get teeth, that they haven't chewed their way into the spout. It is a good idea to replace the spouts every couple of weeks if you see any sign of wear, just like you would a pacifier.

The Key to Success to Keep Your Sippy Cup From Leaking

It is important to look at both the Nuby sippy cup rim and the Nuby spout. On the top of the rim are two lines or marks directly across from one another. The spout also has two marks or indents that are supposed to line up with the lines on the rims. That is how you need to place the spouts to keep the cup from leaking.

Nuby sippy cup seemed perfect for my 7 month baby but I was very disappointed when on the second day (obviously it was hardly used), the silicone spout had a crack in the dent of the spout.

Good to know replacements are available but I didn't expect it to be replaced in a day!

Thanks for your comment. I want to be fair so even not so favorable comments will go here too. As with any product, there are always defective items. I believe in giving everyone and every product a second chance. If the product remains defective, I just stop using it and find another. The Nuby spouts will leak when they are chewed on after a month or two and that's why Nuby is offering replacements now.

These sippy cups are fantastic, especially for transitioning from bottle to sippy cup. You need to make sure you line the spouts and lids up correctly and if you do they won't spill and you'll love them. My 9 month old loves these!

Thanks Sara! I agree, however, like you said, if you don't line up the spouts just right, they can leak. The 10 oz sippy cups have a soft silicone spout as well and they are even better as your baby grows. It's pretty hard to get them to leak unless your toddler has chewed the valve on the top. By then it's time to get a new replacement spout. You can find those on my ebay site kawasakiguy89.

I have had it with these sippy cups. I had bought 4 and kept track of them for leaking. Now, all four are leaking. Not that they leak from the valve, but the darn lids won't tighten. If you turn them to tighten, they just pop off. My son has been drinking from them and all the milk/juice has spilled on him. I cannot find a solution.

Hi Michelle,

I can surely understand your frustration and there is no denying that this does happen at times. It is the exception though so I'm not sure if you purchased these all at one time or one at a time.

I wrote another hub on how to deal with leaky sippy cups and also provide the toll free number for customer service for Nuby. I would suggest contacting them after reading the hub to make sure you are doing everything right and then, if they are popping off, ask Luv n Care customer service why they might be doing that. I've never had it happen to me personally, but something must be wrong with the threads where the lid screws onto the cup. Perhaps they are defective.

It would be worth checking out though. Maybe they will send you some new ones to try. Even with some of the flaws that they have or that have been reported, I've found these to be the best sippy cups for my grandkids, but one size does not always fit all. Thanks for reading my hub.

I am having the hardest time getting my daughter to take any kind of sippy cup. she Just turned one year and hates them. I have some nuby (luv n care) products which she likes and I was glad you posted their information because I called them and they advised me on the best transitonal cups, what I can do, where to go next, etc. They are a wonderful company to work with. The only downside is some of the products that sound like they would work best for my daughter are only sold over seas. Bummer.

This is awesome! But I only use the wide mouthed cups for my son, who wont drink out of anything else!! I've been buying cup after cup as he chews them up, and I've been looking for the replacement spouts that will fit the wide cups so I can just replace that part and not the whole cup. Also, almost every store around me including all the wal marts and target and even babies r us has stopped selling these cups! The wide mouthed insulated ones only, no one sells them anymore. I finally found a couple 2 packs at K-Mart today but I'd like to order some spouts for all the chewed up cups I have haha. They're great and he loves them and couldn't get through the day without them!! But I can't stand the grippers, it's too hard to line up the top when you're closing it and it's nice cause these ones are insulated. Do they make those ones too? Where can I find them?

Oh and for those people that posted saying they don't like the way the grippers line up, the wide mouthed cups DO NOT DO THAT!! They are very easy to close and incredibly unlikely to leak like the grippers. Try them! :)

Raia, I agree with you that the wide mouth cups are good too. You can find replacements for those (at least right now) on ebay by typing in nuby replacement spouts and then scrolling down. They sell for $1.75 to $3 for one replacement spout. That may seem high but you are saving the landfills by replacing spouts instead of throwing away perfectly good cups.

I still like the Nuby sippy gripper cups the best. They are very easy to line up. The problem is that most people don't read the inserts so they don't know that they have to do that. Do it once and it's a breeze. The replacement spouts are only $1 each and come in packages of two. You can find them at http://shop.nubysippycup.com This is a good product for a very reasonable price!

Christine, Can you please tell us where you can get 2 2 1/2 inch replacement spouts for the two handled cups for $2.79? You can get two 10 oz, no handled sippy cup replacement spouts for $2 but I have only seen the others sold in baggies containing one spout and those sell for $1.75 - $3.00 for each spout. They aren't in sealed packages either like the 10 oz no handled ones are. Thanks.
