OBAMA'S PROPOSED "CHANGES"

AND CANDIDATE COMPARISON CHARTS

The following information was received from a respected and reliable source. Some minor editing has been done for clarity. The source of this information includes the following statement:

I cannot put my hand in fire for the veracity of all of the below but the majority of it checks out with checkers. Now comes the dynamite of unbelievable audacity: Please go to paragraph #7. What Obama aka obie is requesting flimsily masked is that the USG establish a Praetorian Guard ala the Roman Empire, a Brown Shirt/Gestapo/SS ala Nazi Germany, etc to counter balance the volunteer American military which will not contenance his stated plans for it and the country. Obama if elected can only survive if he pursues his stated plans above or some thereof with his own praetorian guard devoted to him. Thus his proposal. Friends, you are looking at Germany 1935 and you know where that took the world. But unfortunately, with due respect, you don't.

Since Obama's campaign began, he stated or claimed the following points:

1. Obama called for:

free university education for all; free 401K programs for all workers; free job training for all; free wage insurance for all; free pre-school for all kids; free housing for all who need. NOTE: ("All" includes illegal aliens)

2. Obama proposed to:

raise individual income taxes; raise the capital gains tax; raise Social Security taxes; maintain the death tax; raise taxes on oil companies; raise taxes on natural gas and coal.

3. Obama wants a mandatory, comprehensive health plan for everybody, including those who don't want socialized medicine, at the expense of the tax payer.

4. He sponsored a Bill in Congress called the "World Poverty Act" which would give the United Nations $850 million US dollars to spend on the world's poor.

5. Obama wants to shovel out another $50 billion in giveaways to the states for more unproductive public-works programs which did not work in the 1930's.

6. He wants a new government-funded "civilian national security force," one "that's just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded" as the Pentagon. (That would amount to $500 billion a year)

7. Obama stated he would cut tens of billions of dollars from the defense budget. [Editorial comment: The Defense Budget has a large R&D component.

Additional points:

The US is strong because it has always led the world in technological patents. The Defense budget also contributes to the development of our economy.

One example: the Interstate Highway system with a runway capability every five miles was a defense budget expense.

Obama stated he would slow development of future combat systems and not develop further weapons systems.

Obama said he opposed the Iraq war from the beginning and would end it by unilateral withdrawal.

Obama insisted that the American military surge in Iraq wasn’t really the reason for the overwhelming reduction of violence there.

Obama is opposed to nuclear energy.

Obama stated he would cut deeply the American nuclear arsenal, would ban fissionable materials, and seek a world without nuclear weapons.

Obama claimed that if only Americans would inflate their tires properly and get regular tune ups, "we could save all the oil that they're talking about getting off drilling."

Obama said, "We must end the age of oil in our time." (Does that include oil needed for plastics, tires, airliners, surgical materials, vehicle and tool lubrication, farming, manufacturing, industrial use, etc?)

Obama said he wants to remove the right of union workers to have a secret ballot in elections in the workplace. [Isn't the secret ballot the bedrock of democracy?]

Obama stated he would talk without conditions to world leaders who wish us harm.

Obama told the Germans he was speaking as a 'citizen of the world,' and he apologized to Germans for America doing so many terrible things, like torture. [Like Germans never tortured anyone?]

Obama urged U.S.-European cooperation, saying the fall of the Berlin Wall and the reunification of Europe proved "that there is no challenge too great for a world that stands as one." [The Berlin Wall did not come down because "the world stood as one." It fell because of determined U.S. leadership against a totalitarian ideology in spite of contrarian Europeans.]

Obama said the question of when life begins is "above his pay grade." [ From the man who, three times, voted against a bill requiring doctors to give medical attention to infants born alive during an abortion.]

Obama said that there are 57 states, that JFK got the Russians to remove their missiles from Cuba by sitting down and chatting with Khrushchev, and that Iran doesn’t really constitute an actual threat because they don’t spend as much money on weaponry as we do.

Following is more of what defines Obama. (Some points repeated, sorry.)

-He voted against banning partial birth abortion.

-Obama voted no on notifying parents of minors who get out-of-state abortions.

-he supports affirmative action in Colleges and Government.

-In 2001, he questioned harsh penalties for drug dealing.

-He said he would deal with street level drug dealing as minimum wage affair.

-Admitted marijuana and cocaine use in high school and in college.

-His religious convictions are very murky.

-Said one of his first goals was to have a conference with all Muslim nations.

- Opposed the Patriot Act.

- First bill he signed that was passed was campaign finance reform.

- Voted No on prohibiting law suits against gun manufacturers.

- Supports universal health-care.

- Voted yes on providing habeas corpus for Guantanamo detainees.

- Supports granting driver's licenses to illegal immigrants.

- Supports extending welfare to illegal immigrants.

- Voted yes on comprehensive immigration reform.

- Voted yes on allowing illegal aliens to participate in Social Security.

- Wants to make the minimum wage a 'living wage'.

- Is a big believer in the separation of church and state.

- He is opposed to privatizing Social Security. - Obama supports increasing the Social Security tax.

- He voted No on repealing the Alternative Minimum Tax.

- He voted No on repealing the 'Death' Tax.

- He wants to raise the Capital Gains Tax.

- Has repeatedly said the surge in Iraq did not succeed. - Voted Democratic Party line 96 percent of 251 votes.

- Obama is ranked according to his voting record as the #1 most liberal Senator today. - He chose the #3 most liberal Senator today for his Vice President.

Fact:

Obama logged 143 days in the Senate before launching his presidential race

Fact:

On July 15, 2008, the US Communist Party published on its website an editorial praising Obama's ability to "unite the working class" and "advance the kind of 'progressive change' the Communist Party seeks."

New gasoline taxes (as if gas weren't high enough already) New taxes on natural resources consumption (heating gas, water, electricity) New taxes on retirement accounts, and last but not least....New taxes to pay for socialized medicine so we can receive the same level of medical care as other third-world countries!!!
