We'll be seeing this same picture again in February...

Did you see the Super Bowl this past Sunday? I sure did. I know what you are thinking...isn't the Super Bowl in February? Technically yes...but this past Sunday should be considered the Super Bowl due to this being the only real game worth watching this season. New England and the immortal Tom Brady faced Peyton Manning and his compadres from Indianapolis. It was the battle of the unbeatens...so much media attention...so much hype. We haven't seen this much anticipation since Ruben Studdard vs. Clay Aiken...don't tell me you weren't excited about that? The scary thing is that we almost didn't get to see that game...we almost got stuck with watching the Texans vs. Raiders...ouch. I would have rather watched Viva Laughlin.

Don't get me wrong, the Colts had a chance. In fact, the Colts could have dominated this game if they wanted to. Peyton and his Colts had home field advantage...had more first downs...less penalties...even beat the Patriots in time possession. How could they lose this game? What do the Patriots have that the Colts don't have? Easy answer...they don't have Tom Brady. This guy is a winner plain and simple...his team was down 20-10 with 9:42 left on the clock but managed to deliver a Montana-esque performance late in the game to add another victim on the remaining schedule for the Patriots. The final score was 24-20. So what happens now? An undefeated season...that's what's happening next. Only two real speed bumps remain on the road to a perfect season...New York and Pittsburgh.

Are the Patriots trying to prove a point here? I have to admit that I was a little worried here...remember the "stealing signals" conspiracy? We started to question the Patriots. No questions needed now...the Patriots continue to mow down their opponents. November 4th is an important day my friends...no, not because it was the 17th time I've cheated on my diet this week...it is the day that the NFL season ended...no reason to watch anymore. So if you consider the season over like me...what are we supposed to do on Sundays now that the games don't matter anymore? Here are some ideas to occupy your free time:

How about visiting a museum? Here is one that might interest you artists out there!

The Museum of Bad Art

Is you significant other complaining that you are not well-versed in the arts? Or that you don't know the difference between a Picasso and a Calzone? Then travel to Dedham, Massachusetts and visit a museum with paintings you can understand! This is probably the only museum in the world where the workers encourage you to laugh out loud. Maybe we can display the offensive playbook for the 49ers here!

Have a desire to take a class?

How to Be Funny

Your knock-knock jokes not knockin' 'em deam at the annual office party anymore? Tired of hearding the sound of crickets and tumbleweed blowing whenever you drop a punchline? Then log on to UNT.EDU. This class offers you techniques to help you become the funny man you have always wanted to be. See you in class, Coach Belichick!

Have a knack for trying new sports?

Tunarama

Ever go to a seafood market and have an urge to just start throwing fish at people? Just me? Well, catch a flight to Port Lincoln, South Australia and see how far you can toss a tuna! Wait, you like tuna? Feel badly about throwing these tasty treats? Don't fret...there are other types of seafood you can throw! Join the prawn and kingfish throwing contest!

Or maybe you are allergic to seafood...join this!

Cheese Rolling Contest

Are you a glutton for punishment? Or do you just like chasing dairy products down a hill? Travel to Coopers Hill, England and join the race to cheesy victory! And what do you win if you are the first one down the hill? The 7-8 pound wheel of cheese that you sacrificed life and limb to chase after down the hill! I'd love to participate...but I'm lactose intolerant.

See! That's plenty to do on Sundays! Don't say I never helped you out...
