DR OZ AND OPRAH TEA
Dr. Oz is Oprah's favorite doctor known for his green drink creations and has long endorsed the use of Wu long tea for burning fat and cleansing the body. Chances are that you know this tea called Wu Long by another name. More commonly in the west and in some parts of Europe, it is referred to as oolong tea. However, this may soon be changing due to some recent research involving oolong tea and weight loss.
Wu long tea or Oolong tea is a partially fermented tea, high in anti-oxidents and produced between the green and black tea fermentation process. Often reffered to as Brown tea or Rock Tea. When brewed, it produces an amber colored invigorating drink. It had been used in traditional Chinese Medicine for hundreds of years and has many benefits for a healthy body. Scientific study has shown that its weight loss and fat burning properties are due to its ability to increase the body's metabolic rate , double to that of Green Tea which in turn increases the metabolism of calories. Additional studies reveal that drinking Wu long tea before consuming a high amount of carbohydrates blocks the release of insulin thus reducing the fattening effect of carbohydrates. Its high antioxidant content of polyphenols and flavonoids activating enzymes break down body fat. Best to drink after a meal or before exercise.
Considered as a super food it inhibits plaque deposits making teeth stronger and healthier, assists in tobacco addiction, nourishes the skin and clears eczema, and helps indigestion.
According to a study published in Antioxidants & Redox Signaling, test subjects who consumed wu long were found to have stronger immune systems and a reduced risk for infections.
Some scientists claim that it has anti-aging properties as well; reduces stress; improves immuno-competence and is a natural bronchodilator and a lung anti-inflammatory. As if that is not enough, believers say that it acts as an anti-carcinogen, lowers high blood pressure and diminish heart disease, strokes and other cardiovascular diseases, and therefore helps prolong life.
However, there are cynics that disagree with these claims. The best way is try it. So start melting that fat in your belly, waist, hips and thighs by drinking Wu long tea on a daily basis. Wait for desired effects within 3 to 6 weeks of proper use. When burning fat with Wu long tea, the recommended dosage is 2 cups during breakfast and another two cups following supper. You would also be recommended to use before exercise.Or take it three times a day. Enjoy!

OOLONG, WU LONG OR WU YI ?
There has been a lot of buzz about Wu yi Oolong tea lately. It is said that Wu yi Oolong tea, as an "efficient fat burner", has been featured in Oprah's show, and is a "top secret" of Hollywood stars to keep fit. As a partner of a native Chinese who has been drinking Wu yi Oolong tea for years, I feel I am obliged to share with you some basic knowledge about this tea, and hopefully can help you make better choice regarding Oolong tea.
First let us clear things up about the names.
Let's be clear that so called Oolong tea, Wu Long tea, Wulong tea and Wu-Long tea is exactly the same thing. Oolong and Wulong are different ways of English pronunciation of its Chinese name. These things happen all the time.
Over the years many have considered the Chinese naturally lean and gifted with a metabolism and body composition that magically imparts them with good health. In modern times, however, this supposition has been proven wrong as the world's borders have blurred and recent generations have relocated to Western society. Faced with dietary excess, stressful and sedentary lifestyles and abundant prepared foods, westernized Chinese achieve the same metabolic dysfunction, illnesses and disease as their native counterparts. This is a simple explanation of a complex theory, but this topic has been hotly debated by science for years.Wu Yi Tea is a staple in the Chinese diet and therefore has been proven to be safe and healthful.
What about Wuyi? What is Wuyi and why is it often pronounced Wi Yu Oolong tea? In one sentence, Wu yi Oolong tea is just a kind of Oolong tea, just like Java coffee to coffee in general.
Wu yi got its name from the Wuyi Mountain, where highest quality Oolong tea is produced. Wu yi is also agreed, by majority, to be the origin place of Oolong tea.
