Apparently, over the weekend of September 26^th and 27^th, someone posted a poll on Facebook asking the following question: Should Obama Be Killed? The Secret Service is naturally taking this poll very seriously and Facebook removed the poll on Monday morning. The possible answers to this poll were; “No”, “Maybe”, “Yes” and “Yes, if he cuts my healthcare”. Facebook features third party applications like polling much the same way HubPages does. The Secret Service had e-mailed Facebook Monday to remove the poll but Facebook had already done that by the time they got the message.

So, it’s in the news today. It’s a big deal that someone that failed their “Internet Polling and Survey Etiquette Training Class” posted the absolute worst question that could be imagined in the era of Messiah—er, President Obama, the most beloved President in the history of the world. Ok, United States. Ok, Illinois. Ok, Chicago - but you get my point. You just don’t do stuff like this in today’s world. Ok, today’s America. Ok, today’s United States. Ok, today’s Administration. Ok, today’s Media either – But you get my point.

Ok, ok, anyway, it’s clear that the Obama Administration needs to take drastic steps to curb this kind of behavior on the part of those “Right Wing Extremists” that clearly stepped over the line with this despicable poll. Why, If I ever get my hands on……… What? Wait? Why? What do you mean how do I know that it was a “Right Wing Extremist” that posted this poll? Well, that’s easy. Just ask Bob Beckel, Democratic Party strategist and Fox News Analyst. He’ll tell you and make no bones about it.

A Fox News article posted on their website Monday quoted Ol’ Bob making the following statements:

“This is the kind of garbage that's generated from the extreme right against Obama, and it's going way over the line," Beckel told FOXNews.com. "It's got to be stopped. Find him, prosecute him and put him in jail."

"If they don't like what Obama is doing, then maybe they ought to go out and vote for someone else," he said. "But relying on this kind of attack is un-American and unacceptable."

Way to go Bob! Wow! You’re some kinda Dick Tracy aren’t you? I mean, While the Secret Service is still tryin’ to find their asses with both hands and a mirror, you (you Sherlock Holmes you) have already solved this case! Amazing! But hey! You should know a right wing extremist when you see one with your political background.

You worked on Bob Kennedy’s Campaign in 1968. You were Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Jimmy Carter’s administration, Walter Mondale’s campaign manager in 1984. Yep, pretty impressive credentials, Bob. If anyone would know a “Right Wing Extremist” when he saw one, it would be you, Bob. But - that’s just the problem, isn’t it Bob? You haven’t seen a “Right Wing Extremist”, in fact, no one has. This poll was put on Facebook by somebody, but we don’t know the politics or the mindset of that person yet.

Another fine example of the level of intelligence that supports the policies of this current administration. You have, all by yourself, determined it was a “Right Wing Extremist” that put this ill advised poll on Facebook. I mean gee, couldn’t have been a 13 year old that thought it was funny, right Bob? Or, maybe a Neo-con? Or maybe someone from another country, uh, you do know that someone from another country can access Facebook right Bob? And of course Bob, this means if they don’t like what Obama is doing then they can’t go out and vote for someone else, hell, they can’t vote in America at all Bob, Right? Uh, you do know that, right Bob?

But hell Bob, I understand your frustration at those Tea Baggin’ Birthers; those Census Worker killin’ – oops, sorry Bob, they haven’t caught who did that either. But I bet you know, don’t you big boy. I bet you’d tell me whoever hung that poor man in the woods had to be some of those damn Right Wing Extremists, right Bob?

Here’s what’s really bothering me Bob. It’s that careless and baseless accusations such as the one made by yourself today are becoming the norm in the current administration. That if I want to attend a Tea Bag protest, or believe in the second amendment, or believe that the Constitution meant what it said about limiting the power of the Federal Government, that this somehow makes me an “extremist”. That if I don’t want the Federal Government intruding on my privacy, increasing my taxes and dictating my health care choices that also makes me an “extremist.” Because that word is the same word being used by members of the Obama Administration about anybody that believes these things. We are a “Mob”. The “Fringe”. We are “Nazi’s”. We are “un American”. And all this because we didn’t ask Obama to use our tax dollars to bail out automakers. We didn’t ask Obama to force Government Run Healthcare down our throats. We didn’t ask for “Cap and Trade”. What we do ask is for the Obama administration to listen to us. But they’re not having any of it. They are too busy trying to ram policy down our collective throats to let ordinary American citizens distract them from their holy self appointed mission.

So, bob, there you have it. I believe in all of the things I listed here, and that makes me a “Special interest group” as I’ve heard the citizens expressing outrage at Townhall meetings called. But take heart Bob! I have a plan I think will prevent anything like this abominable poll from happening in the future. All we need to do is ask Obama to appoint an Internet Poll Czar! That’s right, and you could be the first one. Think of the work you would save the Secret Service. Anytime something like this comes on the internet you simply have to point at the nearest flag waving American and have them detained. Sounds great ‘eh Bob? There’s a position that would really let you stretch your wings as a left wing commentator. You could throw around Jerry Springer style lines like today’s whenever you felt the need to whip the “real” Americans into action against those pesky “Right Wing Extremists”. (Not my words Bob, yours.)

But, I’m afraid I won’t have time to follow your meteoric career Bob, I’ll be too busy hunting with Ted Nugent and watching Wrestling on TV. Cause that’s what us redneck, uneducated extremists do with our time.

But, Bob, I’m gonna laugh my ass off if the creator of that poll turns out to be a bored 12 year old.
