Associated press reported that President Obama is seeking public patience in seeing results from the $787 Economic Stimulus Package. The bill became law in February of 2009 and Americans are waiting to see the creation of a promised 3.5 million jobs of which 600,000 was promised to be delivered by the summer of 2009.

Now President Obama is stepping up his appeal to the public to have patience to seeing positive results as economics do not expect to see a recovery of the economy until about the beginning of 2010 or by the end of 2011. The rising unemployment rate which has reached 9.,6 per cent is causing the president to again gather public support for the recovery plan that was put in place to calm the recession that started December of 2007.

President Obama has to ask for public support because of the economic downturn and the president remains optimistic of his economic policies. Americans are always looking for immediate gratification and President Obama is reminding them that the stimulus package was not expected to make a change in the economy for about two years.

President Obama is hoping that the Health Care Reform that is a major expense to the American people and is a stress on the economy will get the economy back on the road to recovery as well.  The president has held press conferences to explain how the health care program as it is now is draing the economy of funds that can be used to get the country out of the recession.  Private insurance companies that use bids are bilking people especially the elderly out of million of dollars.  The Social Security system also needs to be restructured because money is being paid out more than what is coming in.

President Obama would like Americans to take in all the the information that is blocking the immediate recovery of the economy from the recession.  The economy has been in shambles for a while and President Obama can not fix it having only been in office for five months.  The president ask the American people to have patiences with the programs set in place along with economic policies geared to bring the economy to a full recovery in about two years.
