What's Next?
Isn't it wonderful? Our government taking over a troubled car company, housing debt and helping large banking companies because they are too big to fail! Isn't it just peachy that Obama is saving the world with tax and trade (cap and trade)? Oh, and isn't it grand that the EPA is making political moves to back our dear leader on an issue that isn't proven to be true (man-made global warming)? And don't forget National Healthcare! Can our government really take on all of this responsibility? Our government has failed us with social security, free education, and federal loans.  Do you really beleive that they can handle healthcare as well? The answer is NO!  They can't do it.  Our public education system has had money thrown at it for years and years, yet we have a quality problem. We Americans will face the same dilemma with healthcare, if we let our government take control.Â
The US government wants the money, folks. They want your money and nationalized healthcare will give them the unlimited power they have been seeking for almost a century. Socialist governments have the right to tell you what you can have and what you can't. They can take it away from you. Why? Because what one gives can take it just as easily. Socialist Governments do not beleive in Individual Rights, they beleive in sacrificing Individual Rights to make the whole group stronger. What they really mean is, to make the Socialist Government Stronger!!! Do you really want someone in Washington telling you what treatments you can have? Come on! These people are lawyers! Not medical professionals! They have their own interests in mind, not yours-not mine! It is our responsibility to make our country better, not the government's.Â
Read between the lines. Our government (not you and me) has compiled a debt of almost 9 trillion dollars. Will taxing the public and the companies that emit carbon dioxide stop global warming? No. It is a cover story to take more of your hard earned money to help pay back our debt. Will Nationalized healthcare reduce our governments spending? No, because our government is in the business of spending-not saving. They will just tax the taxpayers more and more to pay for their spending. The governments solution to everything is to throw money at it and everything will be better! Our problem isn't the funding, it's the quality! So, you know when the government takes control of something, the cost goes up and the quality goes down. I don't want to see our world class healthcare system go the way of our public education system.
I want a perfect system and When I say that we all hope for a perfect system, I am sincere. The best thing the world has is Capitalism at the moment. It allows for personal growth, wealth and prosperity. It doesn't take advantage of anyone unless you let it. Socialism takes advantage of everyone because behind every socialist government is a bunch of power mad politicians just making policy to control and take advantage of you. There IS NO PERFECT SYSTEM. THERE IS NO GOVERNMENT THAT CAN FIX EVERYTHING. Personal freedom allows for people to find their own way and they can depend on themselves to be happy. That isn't greed or selfishness, it is everyone's Constitutional right. We need to stop dreaming and live in a world that is here now. Recessions come and go, it is a natural occurring phenomena in a free market. It allows for failure and success...just as life.
So, I ask "What's next?". What freedom will we give up because we are afraid? What will we trade for immediate relief? Will we ever learn to be patient and trust in ourselves to fix what needs fixing and stop expecting the government to take on EVERYTHING? Will we ever push the government out of our everyday lives and put them back where they belong (in D.C.)? Will it ever happen or is it too late? What's next?
