The jury seems to be out on this one, it looks like the President Obama has got a few cards up his sleeve that he liked to reveal at this point in his presidency.  One of those programs happens to be scholarship programs for single moms.  While certainly a nice gesture, it has there is some suspicion as to whether it's for real or just a political gesture to gain some more support.  Whatever the case, and In the following categories single mother to have a burning desire to improve your education, and this could be just the opportunity you're looking for.  It's a good program, and one that should not be ignored.

If you are a single mother, or know someone who has recently dropped out of the education path for the sake of the families, then this could be the perfect opportunity for you.  While at one point in your life, it was necessary to give up on education get a job and start working to provide for your family, perhaps things have changed now.  Or perhaps for the financial assistance of the scholarship program the job you have is not all that critical.

A lot of money in this program is considered grant money, so it doesn't have to be repaid. It does take a bit of time for the loan/grant to be approved, but it's well worth the wait.  There are of course requirements for completing the program in graduating with minimal grades.  But the fact that you getting this opportunity to better yourself, the better your life, and make the lives of your children enriched a more meaningful should build all the motivation you need to succeed.

After the selection process you will be notified if your application has been accepted. The good thing about grant is you don't have to return the money to the government. So make sure if you are selected you make the best of it to get a graduation. The graduation certificate will get you the job you desire to provide for your children.
