Obama and you
54So its July 21 2009 our President Barack H. Obama is falling in the polls and his health care plan is on life support. Senator Jim DeMint (R) South Carolina recently said of Obamas health care plan that its defeat would be Obama's Waterloo and that it would break him. Obama responded that it wasn't about "him" or "politics." As we have seen Barry Obama says a lot of things and very seldom gives a complete story.
Yes Barry, this health care plan is about politics or you wouldn't want to ram it down our throats! He wants to pass this monstrosity while he still has decent poll numbers because he may never have them again. If you get the feeling that I may want him to fail then you got that right! I don't want him to fail in the way Rush Limbaugh wants him to fail, I mean I want him to fail as a President!
Look, I have served my Country in battlezones from Grenada to Kuwait city, I have fought the enemies of freedom and to me Obama is just another tin horn wannabe dictator! As an American citizen I do not want my health care taken over by the US Government, I spend 300 a month for health care for myself and my family so I don't ever have to step foot in a VA Hospital!
I do not want my Country in the automobile business or the banking industry, Government has never shown any ability to manage a damn thing and health care is a little more than a letter to be mailed. I have read some Hubs on this site that frighten me I will not mention names but some people think Obama craps rainbow's and expels peppermint flatulent ! ( I did my best to clean that up) Here is a little newsflash Obama is not the Messiah! And he is not the Anti-Christ, he falls somewhere in between as we all do.
Lets be honest about this guy he attended a church for 20 years where the Reverend was an anti-Semite, anti-White, anti-American! When this news broke he originally defended Rev. Jeremiah Wright, when it started to hurt his chances to become President he dropped Wright like a bad habit, but after attending for 20 years it was obvious "he took his leaving a little slow!" How could you sit in a church for 20 years and never hear the things this clown was saying? Honestly, do you believe him?
Then there is Bill Ayers, this psycho was a co founder of the Weather Underground a radical violent left wing group. Ayers is responsible for bombings at NYPD Headquarters and the Pentagon, he was and still to this day is a TERRORIST!Obama actually began his political career in this nuts living room, they gave speeches together and served on the same board at the Annenberg Foundation.
Am I saying Obama is a terrorist because he knows one? No, but they seem to be more than acquaintances and what kind of man would hang out with a terrorist? My answer is "one that does not show good judgment!" All of this was known and discussed before the 2008 election and didn't seem to matter then! I think what we are seeing in the falling poll numbers is buyers remorse, Obama ran a campaign as a new day in America, a different kind of politician is in your midst, but that isn't the case. We have seen his kind before in Jimmy Carter and the early days of Bill Clinton, this is not new its the same ol game plan with a new quarterback!
What do conservatives do about it? Well first thing they could do is find a conservative voice, Newt Gingrich is brilliant and brilliant at explaining what conservatives stand for! I have no idea who is speaking for conservative these days, Rush Limbaugh has been speaking for twenty years and I have been listening for twenty years. Unfortunately Rush is a polarizing figure and tends to turn the independents off, and independents are who we need to get back in control.
This next statement may seem racist to some but I really don't care. Every election cycle we as conservatives try and attract the "Black vote" but we never get a majority of it. Obama received about 95% of the Black vote to McCain's 4%, this is a trend that has been seen in the last 4 Presidential elections, yet out of the past 40 years Democrats have controlled the white house for only 12 years. So why do we try to get the vote that we will never get? Spend some time winning the independents over with clearly defined policies,get that 15% of the 40% independent vote and win elections!
One last thing we should stop doing, quit trying to out Democrat the Democrats, they really are a party with old ideas, socialism is nothing new! Quit spending money on stupid things, I think that's all anybody would ask of government, but will they listen? One things for sure, the people are starting to listen and they don't like what they hear! Are you listening Barry?

I appreciate the nice words, and I know that the black middle class is indeed conservative. I almost included that in this but kinda forgot as I got caught up in writing or typing or whatever we do. What I was gonna say was Republicans get the vote of the conservative blacks there's just not enough of them. You would think after 45 years of promises from the Democrats they would start to see them for what they are, but sharpton and jackson are useful idiots! You know, I have to say that I agree with you on a large portion of this hub, however I have to ask what good would come from Obama failing as a president. I never understood the politics of the opponents of Obama. How did this person get elected anyway I mean ain't Jeb still around. Forgive me for that one. As for Sharpton and Jackson thet are an unfortunate result of 3 failing presidents Reagan included. I consider myself one of the Black Middleclass you are speaking about, but what about the Lowerclass? The people who can't afford to pay $300 a month for healthcare, I guess they're just SOL huh? No mention ever made for this part of our country. I thank you for your service of this country, any soldier who fought for this country in my book is a Hero. I salute you sir. I do believe you only see part of what's going on. True Obama is no Messiah but he is the president and he inherited a problem that the republicans had 3 decades to fix and didn't.

HI Tex, well put!! The best thing with the Rev and Ayers is that he kicked off his campaign in Ayers apt with the holy Wright by his side. But the liberal media and the "higher ed" professors celebrate Ayers as being enlightend.
On the black vote the interesting thing is that there is a rising Black middle class, they tend to be conservative.
That's the Black voter to go after. Unfortuately the rest have been convinced by Jackson, Sharpton, Wrangle and the rest of the "black leaders", that they need the dems, because they can't make it without them. They are victims in one way because they have been hypnotized by our wonderful govt school system.
I'm with you 100% on Newt. he's got the intelect, the vision and the experience and he's Reganesque. He is our best hope. The wishy washy are aready lining up with Romney. He's just a younger McCain, a MA RINO republican.
Hey Tex I didn't know you went to Grenada, I remeber the day well that Regan sent you guys in---great job. And what can we say about Kuwait, That we watched on TV as US troops did the job we all knew they could. Wow, the world was so much better of with Regan, Thatcher, and GH Bush. W did his father proud too.
