I'm obviously not a doctor or psychiatrist. I do, however, have my opinion on this woman, Nadya Suleman.

I think many of us are thinking along the same lines when it comes to this new "celebrity" mother of octuplets. I do not know this woman personally but can I ask, who in their right mind would allow a mother of 6 children, to again become pregnant by invitro-fertilization, knowing the chances that the birth will be multiple??? Not only that but she was unemployed and single!! And still is.

The doctor who allowed this reckless, selfish behavior should have to take a leave of absence from the medical world and maybe take some morality classes before continuing to practice. I've heard over the last few weeks that some people say the doctor should have to assist in the financial lives of these children. In some ways that sounds ridiculous, but let's go over the situation: He HAD to receive thousands of dollars for the fertilization and plantation of these eggs. He HAD to know that this woman already had 6 children. If he was any kind of good doctor, he knew that. He knew she didn't have a spouse to help raise these children. How in the world could he have made the choice to accept her money for this procedure? Because he's a selfish bastard, that's how. And not only is he selfish, but he's a sheep. He thought he'd get away with this. He must've thought that he would be kept incognito. If not, then he's a complete idiot. Although he probably is getting more business from families wanting children, who don't already have a football team at home!

Here is another instance of greed and selfishness that we're so used to seeing these days. Need I say AIG, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac? These greedy shmucks use people and take advantage of their lack of knowledge, to profit themselves. They must feel so good about themselves, they must be thinking, "AAAHHH the rich life. Isn't this nice honey? And we only had to screw over a few hundred people to get everything we've ever wanted. Now jump into the Lincoln Navigator while I take our elevator upstairs to get the kids".

Back to Nadya. She's getting what she asked for, true enough. She wanted the celebrity and now she's getting it. She had to have 14 kids to get attention and then used thousands of dollars of other peoples money, to get plastic surgery to look like Angelina Jolie. Wow. That would be an alarming story if she had a husband, a home, and a job. But she started out with none of that. And here she is on the cover of every magazine in every store! Great mother!

Octu-mom obviously does not have the mental capacity of a chimpanzee. Chimps love their children and spend time with them. They're smart enough to have one or two at a time so that they have time to coddle and nurture them. How in the world can a person, or a chimp, truly be a mother to 14 children? Especially alone!! She is definitely counting on her older children to help with the younger ones (along with the hundreds of volunteers), even though three out of six of the older ones are handicapped.

It should be punishable by law, to bring children into the world under these circumstances. And it should also be punishable by law, for a doctor to accept money and perform procedures on someone who is obviously not capable of taking care of herself. I know, that's a lot to ask. A doctor can't know his patient that well, etc. There should be a psychological exam for ANYONE who asks for invitro-fertilization. Seriousely! There's always a chance of multiple births from this procedure and if a person cannot pass a basic psychological exam then they shouldn't be allowed to carry children.

This is not a case of post-partum depression because nobody in Octu-Mom's financial and relationship situation, would've made the choice to have more than 6 children in the first place!! Unless they're mentally challenged somehow. This woman needs help! These children need help! But is it fair to the general public to even have to deal with this story? I think it's a difficult situation to give alms to. I'd love to send the family $20 to help with the children, but then the mother is getting plastic surgeries, new houses, and round-the-clock daycare services!

It's not fair to the children. Not at all. Can't someone step in?
