Old Jokes Japanese Style

I love trying out different styles of writing and although I have some strong points and some weak points, I like to work on things that I am less confident of to try and get a little better at it.

Haiku (Japanese short poetry) is not a strong point of mine, but I like to try my hand at it now and again.

I have a love for corny old jokes and to be different I thought that I would try to write some Haiku with old jokes as the theme. So here goes LOL, I hope that you enjoy.

Why did the chicken cross the road? To get to the other side!

They say the grass is greener

Across the road

That's why the Chicken Crossed it.

It was always my ambition to perform on stage

I always wanted to be a comedian

But I gave it up very quickly

Because everyone laughed at me!

I wanted to be a comedian

I hated it

Because everyone laughed at me!

Man 1: My dog has no nose!

Man 2: how does he smell?

Man 1: Terrible

My poor sick dog has no nose

Although he can't smell anything

Every one can smell when he's around.

Man 1: Did you hear about the Irish News agents shop?

Man 2: No what happened?

Man 1: It Blew away!

Gone with the wind

Around the four corners of the globe

The Irish newspaper shop

Dedicated to all of the blonde jokes

Why are most Blonde Jokes one-liners?

So that brunettes can remember them.

Her beautiful golden hair reflects in the sunlight

Its just a piteous shame

That hair is she has all up there!
