Old Testament
In Old Testament we read the description on creation of the universe by the god. God took 6 days to create all things then he took rest on 7th day. Then he made a statue made of soil. He entered life into that. Then he let him live in heaven. God also created a woman for the very first man. The two Adam and Eve ate a forbidden fruit which led them to come to earth leaving the heaven. God asked them not to eat the fruit. But they were tempted by the devil to eat that.
We can imagine the next history. The population started to increase and people found their favorite land to live on. After Adam a prophet Noah couldn’t led his people toward right path. People denied obeying his call to live life honestly. God punished them occurring a great flood. At last the inundation came to an end causing many people die. Many new people came to earth after that.
Many messengers also came on this earth to teach people how to lead their life in the path of god. Abraham was a prominent messenger to whom through god promised to build a great nation.
In Old Testament Moses is the most prominent messenger who led the Israelis to cross the river Nile and saved them from oppression of farao ruler of Egypt. Israelis were kept as slave for 400 years by the farao rulers. God talked to Moses and gave him the code of life for mankind. Many messengers came after Moses. Of them, David and his son Solomon were mighty kings. The old Testament mostly written by Moses was in Hebrew language. It was translated in Greek later. The Old Testament is also a history book of mankind. Moses was very much annoyed by his fellowmen who broke their promise many times with god. God punished them for their disobedience. At last Moses could not led his nation to reach on the god promised land. He died. He told his nation that one prophet just like me would come from you, from your brothers who would teach you everything.
People waited for the prophet for many days. When Jesus Christ came he was asked whether he is that prophet who is to come. According to bible, Jesus’s answer is not clear. Many people suppose him as the said prophet. It is clear that Jesus was not like Moses as Moses said that the prophet would be like him. The Muslim prophet Mohammad’s life is similar to Moses. Mohammad had to leave his motherland just like Moses. In religion Islam, Mohammad taught everything as Moses said before. When we read the Quran, the book of Islam; we find all things there.

thank you so much for this evaluation.
As you have said, the Bible has been translated many times, from more than one or two languages. Perhaps we should focus on the common desire in both books for the betterment of mankind in his search to reach a more God-like state, than on which specific images point to the better text.
You are right.
Great reading, very insightful.
Thanks.
