Videos Of Ghosts

Check out the two videos on this page and the information about the location and the stories about the two videos and see what you think about Ghosts when you watch these two videos. In the second video you can clearly see the shape of a human form inside the front door of the hospital and in one of the upper left hand side windows in the second video. It is very clear it is a human shape but you can not see any detail. Was it a ghost. Who really knows. We did not see the shape in the upper window when we were making the video. We saw it when we were playing back the video and we called the police to tell them some one was inside the building. The doors are chained with heavy chains. And the alarm was on. No one was in the building when it was checked. Was it a ghost. No one will probally ever know but the shape can be seen clearly in the video. And if you watch inside the front door of the video you can see a shape there also. In fact if you watch the video closely you will see it twice inside the front door of the old Hospital.

On this page in the videos you will find the best video evidence ever that Ghosts do exist. Watch the videos and read the information on this page and see what you think.

Old Orthopedic Hospital Gastonia N.C.

The Ghosts In The Haunted Old Orthopedic Hospital In Gastonia N.C.

Over the years since 1982 when the old Orthopedic Hospital at Gastonia NC was closed down many people have claimed to see strange things both on the Hospital Grounds and in the Hospital there.

The Hospital was used as a Gaston County Welfare Office after it was closed down in 1982. After a few years with all the strange and unusual things going on the Gaston County Welfare Office was moved to a new location. While the building was being used as a County Welfare Office people saw and reported strange things even that people setting at their desks working would be touched by people that were not there.

On the second floor was where the most activity was seen. Many people saw and talked about the Nurses they would see there only there was no Nurses working there. Some times people would be ordered out of a room by a nurse and when they would take the problem to a supervisor of course no Nurse was there.

Many times police would be called to the building at night when people would see people inside the building but when the police would get there no one would be inside the building.

A lot of people even those that did not believe in Ghosts became believers when they worked in the building during its period as a County Welfare Office. Some people even quit rather than work in the building any longer. Because it was clear to many people that the building was very clearly haunted and very strange things went on in the building and the only answer for what was going on was Ghosts.

I was a patient in the old orthopedic hospital in Gastonia in the mid 1960's. It's almost impossible to find any info on it on the net. I would love to see those ghost videos.

It is located on New Hope Rd. between Toysrus and a graveyard. This page is a bit out of date I think that the building is being used. I know a good 5 years back or so they did something for people with ADD there.

I was in this hospital from 1967 to 1969 and I've experienced it's haunting. Since we were in Wards there were many patients in beds with rails that were lifted at night. Reminded me of large cribs. I remember waking up nights and seeing what seemed to be an old ragged man standing in the doorway going out onto the patio. Always thought it was a dream, but now I'm wondering, and yes, it happened many times.

Stanley-Dr. Angus M. McBryde, Jr. wrote a book called A History of the NC Orthopedic Hospital. He has a web site, and I was able to reach him thru it. He was on staff when the hospital closed in 1979. He may be able to tell you how to get your records. I was there from Nov 1976 till the end of Jan 1977. I never saw a ghost but there were a lot of strange sounds. I attributed that to the fact that the hospital was so old. I am working on a web site now, to tell my story and hopefully get in contact with others that were there. I'll post here when ready.
