Host City Voting Process Has Begun

The 100 or so members of the Olympic Organising Committee have begun the voting process to choose the Host City for the Summer Olympics 2016 today.

The voting system is a process of elimination. Each delegate chooses their top city and then one of the four cities with the least votes  is eliminated. This is followed by another vote between the remaining three cities after which another city is eliminated.

The final run off between the top two cities produces a winner which will be announced in a couple of hours time (as I write this article)
