I like weirdos, and their poetry.
I have always been aware that I do not fit Into the norm ,obviously I am In good company !
tony, I agree, you really don't fit the norm.
Yes, I've always written poetry. Although at one time it was all rhymy and cute. Except when I went through my death phase that is...
Nice to know all you weirdos too!
I have never been able to write poetry. I really like Jim Morrison, that's my favorite stuff, I got American Prayer in my truck at all times.
Unusual but unique , I love poetry, I just posted one "Freedom a tribute to our soldiers. Your poem is fascinating. :)
Thanks for Reading AEvans, I'll check yours out.
it's always been about our choices and how we go about what we set out to do. Interesting. thanks for sharing :D
I think you're not any more weird than life itself. thanks for sharing.
Cris, In this case I chose to be a seeker. Not always a popular choice. Thanks for commenting.
Benson, Yes life is weird once you stop playing the game and look at it. Thanks for reading.
I love it, especially the whisper that there is more. This poem is both insightful and entertaining, and that's a difficult combo. Very nicely done :)
wierd poem;-) liked it
Benji- Wow, thanks for the compliments!
C.C.- Wierd can be good, no?
another good poem
Hi Patricia wow I knew Goldentoad,C.C,Christoph,AEvans,Benson and ChrisA and myself were weird. Now you too and yet you look so beautiful, calm, cool and collected.Yahoooooooooooo another one bites the dust.Lol
You know what they say about still waters, blondepoet!
I love your wierdness! It makes mine not stand out as much:)
Thanks for hanging out here on the fringe with me Amy, is less lonely now.
I love your wierd poetry. Great stuff.
Thanks for reading sixtyorso. Weird it is.
wierd. isn't that kinky? are you kinky? i am. ha ha neat lil poem there girl
C.C., kinky is only if you use the whole chicken instead of a feather. :}
C.C. this poem is about spirituality, so no not kinky.
JamaGenee, thanks for setting him straight.
I like this PC. Weird definitely chose me, and flourished the older I got. I noticed that weird was relative - as everyone I knew was 'weird,' - and it soon became normal, and normal became weird.
Wow ... that's deep!
You are deep! I've noticed that Oprah has made "weird" more mainstream. I used picture my self out on the edge, alone, feet dangling above the abyss. Now I look to the left, look to the right. What do you know, there are people put here.
Still being kinky I see. LOL
Still not, C.C.
Good to see that C.C finally found his old college picture and posted it as his avatar. ;-) But who's he trying to kid? We all know that looks nothing like him now.
I'm gonna have to google William Blake because I don't get the connection. I think he should use one of his new nude sketches as his avatar.
I changed my avatar - but it still isn't showing up anywhere but my profile and hubs.

Did you get the questions yet?
Normality is boring. You have it right. Nice poem.
OK ... now it's changed!
Constant I sent my answers in yesterday... shouldn't it come out today? Will I get instructions for the next step?
Are you weird too Tom?
Constant your link took me to vampires?
This is just the start of the weird revolution. How exciting...Great Poem!
I don't remember when it comes out - might be today. And ya, you'll get instructions, but the only thing you have to do is pick the next one and write 8 to 10 questions for him/her and send that info to Ryan Hupfer.
Doh! That's what I was working on at the time... A-hil!!
It's out! If you don't already know that. Did you like doing the interview?
j me, it is exciting. I think the planet is changing.
CW- I actually liked the Lost Boys years ago but never saw that one.
Ya, your questions made it easy guess I worried for nothing.
Ryan doesn't give you much time to get your shit together though.
I only had a couple hours to answer my interview questions'cause funnebone "waited til the last minute" to send in his info.
I had your questions ready the same day my interview came out ... but then, what else do I have to do?
So you don't have small children, and a business to run Constant? Wanta switch lives for a week?
Great poem. I like weird. Normal is boring and over rated. Most fun and exciting things happen when weirdos are around so keep it up.
How I can relate. Good poem.
Thanks for commenting jim10, I'm starting to see that people approve of my weirdness.
Cindy I'm glad you can relate. Join me on the edge of the abyss?
I agree...normal is boring. I've been what people call a "Character" all my life. Now a character is someone you don't soon forget...and I gravitate to them. Good and bad. There are no indifferent characters. There are a few of them here on hubpages.....but I'm not going to name names.......like Pest, CC, Goldentoad, cindyvine, G-Ma, AE, Misty, blondepoet...........and now I find Patricia Costanzo is one too....my world is crumbling. I thought you were straight laced. If I didn't mention some of my favorite characters...forgive me.
My laces are straight. I carry my weirdness on the inside. :)
No thanks. The small business might be fun - but kids? Uh, no! I'm too busy supervising myself.
Apparently, after a certain age ... no one will supervise you any more. Can you believe that?!?!
Constant IF you have kids they WILL supervise you after a certain age. I here they'll even change your diapers.
So, I saw a picture of Ryan in a sling, is that why the Hubber of the week didn't come out?
My difference has been forgiven, but it is still there. Also I'm distractable...
People have called me weird all of my life....usually at weddings and funerals...I apologize a lot too. I love weird people...Thanks!!! :)
The toil that comes with being weird
Is worth all the pain and tears ...
As death shall thee find
But with peace in thy soul left behind
Great poem. Couldn't have described the topic better.Touche!
Tom R. - That's nice that you're forgiven for your differences. When I "left the village" some people just didn't know what to do with the new, weird me. And some topics have become taboo. I've met a lot of nonconformists out here on the fringe though, that makes up for any loss.
Tom C - I think we are in good company. There are weirdos coming out of the woodwork. And quite good eggs they are.
nazishnasim - Nice work! You got my poem down to four lines and made it rhyme! Touche squared.
You're not weird, you're just an individual! You rock! Keep up the "weirdness"!
Kea, I think there is an abundant supply of weirdos on hubpages for some reason. A bunch of nonconformists.

When I saw the title, I thought this was going to be about me. Glad to have a new weird friend. Very nice. Have you always written poetry?
