Go-Daddy Auctions for domain names selling for BIG MONEY

I have been watching the on-line auctions for domain names recently. I look on EBay but EBay doesn't get you the higher dollar it once did. Their fees are high not sure if they'll win the people back.

Anyway I have been watching the domain name game.

On Go-Daddy the craze now is the domains with three letters. They strangest domain names are selling at big bucks. bw.net has 24 bids and the price is up to $50,000.00.

That is crazy. So if you go to Network Solutions and search on a domain name.

Read this paragraph entirely first,

At Network Solutions on the middle section in a retangular square in the open area you can search for an available domain name. So type in oh whatever say as an example cisco or even ciscowarehouse or whatever then click search and you will see that all have been bought well then,

Look for a small blue words under the list of domain names that are not available and click on the blue words. Make the owner an offer.

Pick one that is taken then click the offer a price and offer 100 (one hundred dollars leaving off the decimal point and dollar sign) then go down an inch and at the little arrow check NO that you do not know if there is a web site. Then click make a certified offer. Do not panic it will not ask you for a credit card or anything unless it is for sale. In that case merely back out of it and all is well. It as been bought Network Solutions offers to make the offer for you to buy it and then to the left a chart will appear and it will show the value. The .com and .net are the expensive ones with the others such as .BIZ and .Info and .org and others aren't as excting to their system.

and this one

Then make an offer. If you do not check the I do not know spot it typically comes up at $105.00 but if you check that "you don't know about the web site is included" then a value come up.

If it comes  up and the price is $105.00 then back up and think of another domain name. The name that came up that is $105.00 can be bought at GoDaddy for under $25.00. Back to the story,

You will be amazed at the values. Some are $200.00 some are $500 to $1200.00 and some are over $25,000.00. Alright so I looked today for a two letter combination and I found none. I tried probably 200 combinations and found none. So then I began to search out three letter combinations. I mean I checked about another 200 to 300 and it took me about an hour. I did find a few and yes I bought them. I then paid by a cc and in a few days will move them to Go-Daddy and auction them.

I went back later today to Network Solutions and checked the four letter combinations. The AAAA and BBBB and abcd and HHHH and on an on and on. These are all gone. Maybe next week I'll look for the five letter combo's. I figured out one LLLL how about Lucky Louie Lives Life.

Now lets go back to Go-Daddy. What you have to do is click auctions then ending soonest then by bids. That will bring them up. If you do not do it like I'm explaining then the list may not be as impressive. maaa.com is at $20,000.00 right now at 10:38 EST. Tuesday. This auction closes in four hours.

I own Cisco Warehouse well it really is ciscowarehouse.com and .net. and so on.

I spoke to a lady at Go Daddy Auctions last week and she said OH My. What a combination. Cisco is one of the top search terms along with warehouse. She said it will bring top dollar. I have had it for at least five years. I own about 50 domain names.

Mostly computer related and political.

As a note I own whostandsforwhat.com and .net and so on. I would think that is worth a boat load but on Network solutions is worth less than $500.00. It must have a computer that looks at each word then how many it is searched to come up to a value and my whostandsforwhat isn't a combination that is searched and I understand that however it is worth more than a grand.

I also own electionsnationwide and right now I am moving it to GoDaddy so that I can auction it off as well but any back to the story.

So I ran the auction starting price at $12,500. This $1500.00 under value and I am here to say not a bid not an offer..

At 10PM EST these are a few of the domain names and the price they have been bid up to.

There is no way to see what they close at or who the buyer is once it closes. I guess it would be intereting to keep a log of these and then check from time to time to see what the site looks like and if it even out there.

tnoh.com $20,000.00

smsstreet.com $10,000.00

eebe.com $20,000.00

 corg.com $50,000.00

 brmo.com $20,000.00

Anyway just seems odd to me.

Well back to it. I bought a bunch of three letter domain names and if any sell for more than say $1500.00 I will come back here and update this blog.

Thank you,

i have been with godaddy for about 6 months now, i registered over 40 good keyword names, and bought at auction 5 premium names (iget total traffic 10000/month uniques on the 5 premium names paid less than 590 for all 5 at auction, my problem with godaddy is I CANT SELL A DAMN ONE OF THEM! due to the fact that the traffic is not showing on the auction, you know how you go to godaddy auctions A-Z listings and click sort by traffic right? well those are parked names, (cash parking) im not gonna join their cash parking (why pay for it when sedo is free) so im trying Both Cash parking and Auctioning at Sedo, so far no luck.. but it has only been 1 month with sedo, and all my premium names are showing the traffic in the Domain catalog listing at sedo, i guess i should try a very low minimum offer price, and see if that works, the moral of the storie is I dont think i can ever sell a name threw godaddy auctions as since im not in their cashparking program, my godaddy auction listings dont display any traffic figures, and 90% of domain purchasers buy for the traffic, so hopefully since im cashparking at sedo i can start selling my names, GOOD LUCK on the 2 and 3 letter names, i got lucky on this one JBHZ.NET that is the only short 4letter or less one i have been able to find. and register. (my experience with cashparking so far at sedo is the LEGAL related names like mesoclassaction.net have the highest paying keywords from .25 to 1.10/click so far over the past 2 weeks since i first parked it at sedo (mesothelioma)(medical malpractice) (but that name hardy gets any traffic as i simply registered it.

so if anyone wants to make good per click rev on cash parking then buy a premium name that already gets lots of traffic but one that is Related to LAW/MEDICAL/insurance keywords. make sure name is ranked with alexa, and you can verify the so called traffic threw both estibot and alexa.

i have to go. bye
