Once upon a time I met a strange guy who wanted to make some psychic revelation to me ...

Well as you know I'm a strong rationalist and really not a psychic. If you do not believe me but prefer to believe Numerology, well even my Numerology does assert it :)

"You are so rational that the unpredictability of the heart frightens and surprises you. ...

You have a theoretical mind, but rather than indulge in fantasies or idle thought, you prefer to base your theories upon scientific facts."

Today I have become a bit more open-minded to paranormal stuffs but this has not always been the case like more than 15 years ago when I met a guy who pretended to be a medium.

Well there was no way I would volontarily go and see a medium since I didn't believe in that kind of stuff so it was under an unsuspected circumstance that it happened.

Originally I went to an IT Conference job whose speaker was that guy. He was the CEO of a firm and a former director of a Microsoft training department and he did come from the most prestigious engineering and elitist school in France Polytechnique. So really I couldn't suspect what would happen thereafter.

Well at the end of the conference there was a group of people who wanted to ask questions. I didn't have any question - or rather I was very shy at that time - but wanted to stay for learning more and I was listening to the conversations of all when somebody (not the CEO guy) made a mystical joke I don't remember the joke except that it mentionned Karma. I laughed "Wow but I don't believe in that stuff :D".

Then the CEO of the firm stared at me and asked: "You don't believe in Karma ? I was like you but now I do." My jaw dropped a few instant with an ironic smile meaning "Guess you're joking." But no he wasn't joking. He told me that a few years ago he was really harsh with all people who would talk to him with that kind of stuffs but that he changed his mind one day when he read a book which was a revelation to him. He then move his hand quicker and quicker and said: "you see my hand is disappearing everything is Vibration". I answered nothing but this didn't impress me: so what? he should already know as an engineer since in Quantum Mechanics wave and particle are the same; so interiorily I was laughing "ha ha ha I met a mad, how am I going to escape and no way I would work in a firm directed by such a guy !)".

I wanted to leave politely but he did continue and revealed that he acquired some medium capacity. He even founded an association for mental ill people and said he exorcised someone who was haunted by a bad spirit - because the spirit wanted the inhabited man to kill his wife. Oh oh, I told myself, this guy is seriously crazy I'm going to run away as fast as possible :)

But then came the revelation which I think was the purpose of what he wanted to tell me - he did only addressed me I wondered why.

- The Snake Race is going to return, he said.

- The Snake Race ? Never heard of, I replied.

- They had already come in the past: they were called the Nazi. If people pray they could be repelled.

- And you told this story to anybody (since he didn't even know me) ?

- No (this worried me: hmm maybe it's because I look physically very naive then !)

- OK I'm sorry but I'm late so I must really go !

- Before buy the book I was talking about. It's on the third level of La Fnac (a famous French store), go the right side of the floor and the book is the second rack at right.

Huh at least this guy is precise he didn't forget he was an engineer.

- Well, pleased to meet you, Sir, Bye.

And I was gone ! I had no intention to get his silly book but finally I was curious to know what transformed such a scientist into a bizarre psychic and as the store was just near, I decided to go and buy it. There was only one book and it was exactly where he described it.

Next time I will tell what the book was about.

That's all Folk for today !

Interesting, looking forward to hearing the story of Karma. If ever you are interested in weird stuff email me... I have a good collection, about 48 years worth! I am a INFJ, (Jung), kind of second nature by what I am seeing.

Thanks for the reference to Freemind a program like this would be great for one like me...lol! Gonna miss the frequency of your posts, but I have tons of catching up to do -- about 275 worth of catching up.

Yeah, that'd weird me out, as well. I may have "mystical" leanings or receptivity to it, but karma (as I understand it) isn't exactly something I buy into. Plus, people making rash claims tends to make me start investigating and get suspicious. We've all got a right to our thoughts/feelings, of course, but sounds like the guy got a bit... preachy. You'd think if prayer worked against Nazi's they'd not have got far in WWII, right?

Well Karma or Astrology is same of kind for me so I'm surprised you seem to believe in Astrology and not in Karma :)

I mean in the Decoz numerological/astrological software they often reveal the karma of the person (well with mine they don't tell me :( :) http://hubpages.com/hub/Know_thyself

I would really be curious to know it even if it is fake it would be so amusing to read it as entertainment !)
