Easy Ways Comments Drive Traffic

One of the easiest way to drive traffic to your Hub is for Hubbers to stop clicking and surfing up and down Hubs without leaving comments. Each time you read a another Hubber's work, kindly leave a constructive comment. Look at the stats on each of your Hubs. More likely than not, the Hubpages are sometimes submitting more stats than Google and Yahoo combined. Each morning you look at your readership for the day and hope that there is an increase. Hope is good but one sure way to increase or drive traffic to your Hub is to open up conversation with comments. Leaving a constructive comment or criticism will enhance readership and drive more traffic to your Hub. If the stats are correct, Hubbers are doing an awesome job of reading each other Hubs. The fallacy is that Hubbers are not talking to each other. Each time your readship numbers increase that means that more often than not another Hubber has read your work and they should have left a comment. Why leave a comment? Leave a comment so that the numbers materializes into reality of a real person actually reading and appreciating your work. Sometimes the comments may not be what the Hubber wants to read but constructive criticism is always good. The more comments received, the more learning information is received in which to improve writing and in which to drive traffic.

The easy way of driving traffic is for those numbers to start talking to the Hubbers in the form of comments. Ideas can materialize also when Hubbers start talking to each other but the main reason for talking to each other or leaving comments is to drive more traffic to your Hub. It is said that knowedge is King. It is also said that knowledge is power, so Hubbers start distributing knowledge and power as a way to drive traffic to your Hub.

It is amazing, the honesty in which the Hubbers writes when the comments are received. If you are fortunate to receive the 10,000 readership stats, just think of all of the information you can use to drive traffic to your Hub. And all of this information will be centered around what you wrote. Now the satisfaction is not only in having had someone read what your wrote which is great, but to have Hubbers leave comments is the extra push needed to drive traffice.

The bit of help that Hubpages help with their tutorial is great but the web designers and the technological staff are being aptly rewarded. The staff may think that the Hubbers are excited also because they get to have fans if they write really great and even if one person reads their work, then Hubbers are content. Hubbers should turn the contentment into usable information and leave comments for fellow Hubbers.

Everyone needs helps with their driving now and then. Why not help new Hubbers and the ones that have been here for a while with comments by simply talking to each other. If you are a true writer, then you enjoy reading your own work and the work of others as well. You can start driving traffic with yourself by leaving comments everytime you read even a smidgen of someone's work to get an idea of the concepts they are hoping to convey. Through comments, Hubbers can show you how to put images on your work and the importance of presenting your work in a professional manner. Any and all information received will be helpful to Hubbers and will help to drive traffic.

So leave your stamp of approval or disapproval whenever you read another Hubbers work. The statistics show that Hubbers right here on HubPages are doing a lot of reading and needs to leave more comments to help drive traffic and to increase traffic. Hubbers can read their work over and over again but it is a pleasure to invite visitors. Do not just read other Hubbers request on How to drive traffic, just begin to leave constructive comments and you will be amazed at the increase in traffice a bit of conversation can add to a Hub. Love your Hub by responding to others so other Hubbers will open up a constructive conversation. Hubbers speaking to each other and leaving comments and maybe a URL or two of relevance will go a long way to driving more traffic to your Hub.

I agree with you about the comments. I get a bit of traffic, but not many comments. I think, getting comments is half the fun. You write what you think is a great hub, you get traffic, but a deathly silence with no comments. Come on hubbers, leave comments!

Cindyvine, you know there is a certain joy that we hubbers get from writing and I am thankful to receive even one comment. So thank you for commenting and you are becoming a prolific writer.

I agree comments are most helpful to writers. When people stop reading and leaving comments there is a problem. If noone tells you what that is how are you to know. It is just tough to know who wants constructive criticism and who doesn't. I really liked this hub and it is very truthful.

Linda, I've written 10 hubs with pretty good scores and people are visiting but they are not leaving comments. I've only had one comment on one hub. I've left quite a few comments on other peoples hubs - they are appreciative and also very helpful to me but they are not returning the visit with comments. I'll keep plugging along though.

Mekenzie, thank you for your comment. Your niche on nutrition and mental health is well founded. These topics are mostly informative and you will find that topics that inform rarely gets comments unless the information in controversial. You will find that the more interactive your topic is the more comments you will get. Readers like to be informed but for the most part people like topics that they and canter back and forth on.

For example if you use a case study and present that information as a hubpage you are likely to get responses and comment. Why? Because people like to look at what someone is handling a problem or a situation and then give their take on it.

It is difficult to get an opinion from someone when you are informing them about the proper way to eat for good health. But if you were to write a case story on an interactive subject where people have to connect such as "Why Men Leave a Women with Mental Ilness Moreso than a Woman" then you will receive a response from both men and women.

Men may be denying the allegations and women may be reasoning why they choose to stay to help people in that kind of condition instead of fleeing. But as long as you continue to only write about facts and figures, then you probably will not receive many comments.
