One of the newer trends on the web is One deal a day websites. These websites show just one item a day unti they sell out. This is a list of websites that offer one deal a day.

Woot

Woot.com is the most popular of these sites and what inspired me to look into this subject more closely.  It is a company based out of Carrolton Texas. They sport one item per day!  Unless they are having a Woot off, then they weill sell several items pr day.  the fun is you never know what they are going to sell in advance!

Woot seems to have been added to our dictionary. The term Woot originated after the sale of an item on this site..

A Woot-Off is when they offer more than one item a day for random amounts of time. The website indicates a Woot -off by it's flashing lights at the top of the page. Software has been developed promoting the Woot-offs and the sales items on Woot.

This site even has a podcast that sings a silly song about selling junk.

There are also websites developed to to tell you about the latest Woot-offs. see link below

Round up sites

There are sites that tracks the one deal a day sites and promotes the best deal of the day. These are called round up sites.  See the links below to check it out.

Bag o Crap

WOOT has a what they call a Bag of Crap they sell for a dollar or so.  It is kinda of like a mystery bag.  Below are are two videos that document the bag of crap that people are likely to receive..

Do you use Woot?

Check this One Day Deal Web Site! WooLoot, WooLoot concept is simple. They offer their customers the latest trendy products at a discounted price, one day at a time. Every day, www.wooloot.com sells one item and one item only. Customers have 24 hours to purchase the product or until sells out before a new one takes its place. The same goes for the next day and the next.

Also, they plan to help enrich the community by using a percentage of our profit to provide underprivileged children with the goods they need for a better standard of life. Every time a customer purchases an item from www.wooloot.com, a portion of that money will go to needy children in the form of clothes, shoes, etc. So, their customers not only buy something for themselves, but also for a child in need.

I never known Woot.com, but will give a try. I always use dealsea.com or dealslist.com. And I also have my coupon site http://www.tophotdeal.com . Every coupon or deal site has their own special features.

There is another one located over at http://www.dealappeal.net. They show four deals found on eBay that are slashed sometimes up to 80%.

The amazing thing about these sites is that even with very little product, they are able to still make sales.
