One punch can kill and ruined lives .

How many times have you heard on the news about a person being killed or injured by one punch.Yes one punch that's all it takes to kill a person or make the person injured for life. In Western Australia where I live new laws have been brought in because its getting out of hand these one punch situations.

Most of the time it's alcohol fueled, you go out on a night with your mates you have a few drinks someone bumps into you by mistake and you lash out killing that person and then spending your life in jail. That's how it usually happens and you wake up in jail knowing you have killed a person because of your stupid immature actions. You don't even have to punch someone, a rough push and someone can land hard on the pavement or curb and that can fracture the skull causing the same kind of injury. Also something as simple as a knock to the side of ones head and striking the temple can be fatal, this can happen too easily.

One way we can stop this happening is becoming more aware of the one punch law and teaching our children about the dangers of going out and starting fights because lets face it the next person affected by this one punch one kill could be your son or daughter because lets face even more disturbing facts that girls are more prone to fights in these days compared to years ago. weather defending themselves or during an outburst of violence themselves. Another thing that might bring the message home to some offenders is to have them work with or help care for those who have been injured in these mindless acts, it just might be the ticket that helps people to open their eyes to think things through before it is too late.
