Onkyo HT-RC160 7.2-Channel A/V Surround Home Theater Receiver
54
I replaced a Teac receiver with this unit. What a great unit. There are
so many connections. I do not have surround speakers, but provides only
the basic of the two and they sound so much better with the power and
capabilities of this receiver. Predefined labels are great and if they
do not work, you can change it.
I've learned .... ac no connection, connect the tape / CD player,
etc. My Teac has had two and they were very, very practical. No biggie
here, but it would be nice.

When I Fios box, sent to the receiver and then the signal on the
Samsung TV, I was a little disappointed. The Samsung's audio and can I
attend spikes (you know when the ad for the life of your attention to a
volume of more than show you are watching). For me, the picture was not
only the right, either, but it can also personal preference. So I went
back to live in the Fios TV box. I love this option and use it
occasionally, perhaps when playing Blu-ray, etc.
I had a little trouble, the son of the closed housing in the feet,
but my Teac was the same. Other units are also other ways to make life
easier, but how often do you contact, son anyway, I thought.
The remote could be better. I had to hunt for the keys.
The buttons on the receiver itself need light. I had to use a lamp so I could see what was what.
Yet these problems are not large. It is a unit of choice with
many, many options. You can not go wrong. The sound is great and the
unit is solid.
