I want to share with you one of the very best ways I have found to generate traffic and leads for my online businesses.  Now, before I dive in here, I want to be clear about one thing:  In order to build a successful business, you will need to invest time or money into the process, ideally some of both.

Many, many people come to internet marketing with a pretty casual attitude, hoping that they can just learn a few tricks and make a ton of money.  If that’s your attitude, you may as well quite now because it is pretty much the same as playing the lottery.  In order to succeed, your commitment to success must be rock solid.

This marketing strategy that I’m about to share flat out works.  But still, not many people really leverage it fully because it does take time and energy, along with a bit of perseverance.  BUT it is an FREE way to gain potentially MASSIVE exposure for your business.  I have personally used online article marketing as the main way to get free traffic to my websites.

In fact, I just checked my ezine articles stats and I have gotten right around 4,000 visitors to my websites just from this directory alone.  In another year, I project that this will be closer to 20,000 unique visitors if I keep up with my current pace.

How would that affect your business?

There are a couple main things to keep in mind when trying this strategy:

1.  Be consistent! No matter what, do your best to create one piece of new, fresh content every single day.  This is critical to your success.  You can’t just write 1 or 2 articles, submit them to a directory, and then say, ‘I guess that does not work.’  This is what most people do.

2.  Do keyword research. You can use the Google keyword tool to target specific keyword phrases that people are typing into Google on a regular basis.  This makes your article very targeted and relevant to the market you want to saturate with your content.

3.  Leverage the power of automated distribution through repurposing your content. I will talk more about this in another article, as it is a little more advanced, but you want to learn how to achieve mass distribution of your articles by circulating them through high ranking article directories, online video directories, and social bookmarking sites.
