Pokemon Battle Revolution - This is a game of many firsts. Among other things, it's the first Pokemon game on Wii, the first to use Wi-Fi connection in Japan and US, and the first Wii game to interact with Nintendo DS using Wi-Fi.
Pokemon Battle Revolution introduces future Pokemon masters to a theme park named Poketopia. This new environment is made up of eleven different coliseums, each with its unique features and effects. The Crystal Colloseum can hold sixteen-player-tournaments while the Gateway Colosseum is only available to rental pass holders. Poke-Coupons are earned and used by players to customize their characters. Attacks for Pokemon are more diverse and Pokemons won in Battle Revolution may be transferred to your Nintendo DS.
The Lagoon Colloseum is used only for Online and DS Battle Mode. For online games, you have two options to choose from: Battle with Someone and Battle with a Friend. The former lets you compete with a random player while the latter requires use of your own 12-digit-friend code.
FIFA 08 - The latest and multi-awarded installment in this franchise comes with over six hundred licensed teams for you to choose from, thirty leagues for you to play in, and more than fifteen thousand players to help you formulate your team. Its multiplayer mode may also be played online.
Hooked! Real Motion Fishing - Created by SIMS, the same developer for other well-known fishing games like Sega Bass Fishing and Top Angler: Real Bass Fishing, this new game lets you compete with up to three online fishermen. Purchase of the game comes with a free fishing rod attachment.
Medal of Honor: Heroes 2 - This popular first-person-shooting game lets you take on the role of OSS Operative John Berg as he works to penetrate enemy lines in Norway to demolish evil forces intending to recreate a Nazi force. While John Berg wields the latest weapons to shoot his way to victory, it's your job to control his actions with your Wii zapper.
The online multiplayer mode allows you to communicate with other members in the lobby and while playing. There are three options available for playing online. Deathmatch is, as usual, utilizes a you-against-the-world-fighting mode. Kill as many as you can while limiting the number of times you die to the utmost minimum. With team deathmatch, the same rules apply, but two teams face off this time. Lastly, there's infiltration or capture-the-flag mode. The team that captures the flag by the end of the round wins.
Guitar Heroes 3: Legends of Rock - The latest installment in the series introduces a new concept to aspiring guitarists: Battle Mode. Here, two players battle against each other, storing and using attacks while trying to complete a song. If neither player's attacks succeed, they'll have to face off in a Sudden Death match.
Nights: Journey of Dreams - Last but certainly not the least is the newest game featuring the dream world Nightopia. You have two characters to choose from, Will and Helen, but their storylines don't interact with each other. It is your job to save Nightopia from nightmare creatures aptly named Nightmaren.
There are two multiplayer modes available, Battle Mode and Speed Mode, and both of which are playable online. You can choose to use play With a Friend Far Away or Random Character in the World.
